Working on lg for a while we have talked to tech suport and they don't want to admit they have a issue with these units.. first of all they say if on a pedastal they will give you problems but yet they sale the darn things... what we have found though is there is a device called a haul densor and it is very easy to replace you have to remove the backof unit panel and gain access to the back of tub... make sure it is connected well as it is on a rotor looking device called a stator assembly... if it is connected well and you have made sure it is level you have a bad haul sensor...thsi is what determines the speed of drum and slows down unit if getting out of balanced.. it is not that expensicve and pretty easy to fix.... hope this helps you out...
