(befory you read this, please excuse my leinghyness)
Well,

If you take apart the Wii very carefully, you might be able to get the game out (which you will most likely never be able to play again because the clicking noise is most likely the disc being rubbed against something) without causing damage to the Wii. Doing this is risking causing damage to your Wii (and yourself if you are too dumb to un-plug it.) so if you have bought your Wii less than a year ago,

Nintendo of America Inc. ("Nintendo") warrants to the original purchaser that the hardware product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. If a defect covered by this warranty occurs during this warranty period, Nintendo or a NINTENDO AUTHORIZED REPAIR CENTER will repair the defective hardware product or component, free of charge. The original purchaser is entitled to this warranty only if the date of purchase is registered at point of sale or the consumer can demonstrate, to Nintendo's satisfaction, that the product was purchased within the last 12 months.

if you purchased your Wii more than a year ago,

Okay so my super smash brother disc looks fine and isn't scratched or dirty but the consoles will say an error has occurd after 5 minutes then. The wii is 4 years old now.

Have you tried another disc? If it's giving you the same error across the board the laser eye might be dirty. You can try to blow in the game tray or get some kind of computer air duster.

When i play the game (animal crossing: Let's go to the city) on a different Wii i have to start from the very begining. Why will it not pick up from where i left?

This is because your save data doesn't go onto the game disc itself. Instead the wii is designed to save directly it's built in console hard drive or possibly a memorey card.
you can however transfer your saves to an sd card via your consoles memory managment options (this way you could bring your save data to your friends house and use it on their wii)
this link will help explain: http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/wii/en_na/data.jsp#SDcopy
hope it helps
~good luck!

My wii does not read any game disc

One of the major problems with the Wii not reading discs is related to Dual Layer Discs. Mario Kart Wii and Super Smash Brothers Brawl are both dual layer, and are often not readable because of a dirty lens inside of your wii's disc drive. If you have had your Wii for less than a year, it is definitely covered by your warranty, and you should call Nintendo and set up a cleaning.

If you are not within your warranty, I'd call Nintendo anyways to see what they have to say. If they won't do it for you without charging, you could also look into a wii lens cleaning kit online. Make sure you get a good quality one with good customer reviews.
