Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
I can't say i know a whole lot about batteries, but it sounds like you have a defective battery. actually, how long have you had the psp? if more than a year, how did you use it (for example, was it left on the charger all the time, taken off for a while then charged, etc.)? i've had my psp fat since november 05 and just recently i noticed that the battery life was getting way short, about 1 hr for umd and around 30 for browsing the web. if you know anyone else that owns a psp, try borrowing their battery and see if you still have the same problem. if it's fine, obviously you're gonna need to buy a new battery, but if it's still shutting down early, the psp itself is probably defective and for some reason "thinks" that the battery is low. hope that helps and you get the psp back in business!
