Yes you will need a module to interface the GM Anti-theft system in your vehicle. It's a fairly simple solution, and should run you around $100. it needs to fool your car into thinking the key is in the ignition when it remote starts, or else the Factory Anti-theft will trigger and not allow your vehicle to start, and trigger the factory alarm. ( your horn with sound off)

Why wont the unlock button work on the Astros start remote for a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer?

Sounds like either the key fob needs to be reprogramed or your remote locking system needs to be reset. Check with the manufacturer or dealer where you bought the car if they have the directions for resetting the system.

My chevy trailblazer wont shift from park to drive.

chances are the shift cable is broke at the transmission, I drilled the rod out of the shift lever and ran a shoulder bolt through the shift lever and cable end and finished up with a lock nut.

How program my keyless entry remote for my 2003 chevy trailblazer

1. Close all doors
2. Insert key into ignition
3. Hold down the power UNLOCK button on the driver's door panel, continue to hold down
until instructed to release in step 9.

4. Perform steps 5 through 8 in a fairly rapid succession.
5. Turn the ignition to the ON position (as far as you can go without starting the engine.)
6. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
7. Turn the ignition to the ON position (as far as you can go without starting the engine.)
8. Turn the ignition to the OFF position.
9. Release the power UNLOCK button on the door panel. The vehicle should respond by
door locks locking and unlocking automatically. (If locks do not cycle after you let go,
not before you let go of the unlock button, then the vehicle has not entered programming
mode and you must start procedure over. Remove key from ignition, open drivers door
and return to step 1 ). If the locks do cycle automatically then proceed to step 10.

10. Hold down the LOCK and UNLOCK buttons on the remote until the doors lock and
unlock. This may take up to 30 seconds.

11. Repeat step 10 NOW for each additional remote. (Including any existing remotes).
12. Turn the ignition to the ON position to exit the programming mode.
13. Test remote(s).

The key is not turning in my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer. I think the shifter is not in park because the wheel is not locked. What do I do

try and move the shifter to neutral, i would try and move the shifter to every gear and try to key in each one... I assume this vehicle is an automatic

2004 chevy trailblazer door lock remotes

The body shop should be able to program the Key F.O.B back to your vehicle. If the battery was disconnected the reciver to the F.O.B lost the frequency.
If the shop can not fix it the dealer can.

Setting my remote

those remotes need to be set with the obd system.
some cars you can program the remote by turning on and off the ignition,or in other cases the key in and out until the hazards flash, then hit a button and done.
yours has to be set at the dealer

Passenger side window, lock and rear mirror

if it isn't a chevy part, then what kind of part is it?? I don't understand why they would say that. if it is in your truck then it should be a chevy part. If the vehicle was sold to you with these parts in and the whole truck was part of the warranty then it shouldn't matter. do you have aftermarket waranty or factory warranty. I think if the parts were in the truck when it was sold to you, and it had a warranty then all the parts listed in the warranty should be covered. (unless they are an add on piece) eg remote starter, stereo, speakers etc, things that would have been fitted after the purchase.
