Question about E-Machines eMachines Desktop PC

IEXPLORE.EXE serious issues disrupting other programs!!!!! HELP!!!!!

I realized that I had this IEXPLORE.EXE in my process manager that continuously resets itself and due to microsofts incompetence, will also automatically replace itself after deleted. My big issue with it is that I think its the source behind disrupting my other programs all of the sudden. Fullscreen apps and games will be kicked out of fullscreen for no reason at all!!! And then I have to end their process because every time I go into the damn thing it kicks to desktop again!!!!!!!! This is very frustrating. System restore was useless, I downgraded Internet explorer and even attempted to remove and replace it with something else with no success. I just reinstalled XP 2 days ago for different reasons and I'm not about to do it again for this retarded issue. HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm trying to change the screen resolution while running windows 7 because I have no desktop showing on my monitor

Firstly, there appears to be many causes of the black screen issue. The symptoms are very distinctive and troublesome. After starting your Windows 7, Vista, XP, NT, W2K, W2K3 or W2K8 PC or server the system appears normal. However, after logging on there is no desktop, task bar, system tray or side bar. Instead you are left with a totally black screen and a single My Computer Explorer window. Even this window might be minimized making it hard to see.
If you have these symptoms you can safely try our free Black Screen Fix. It will fix the most common cause we have seen of this issue. Running the fix program is easy under normal circumstances, simply download with your browser using the link above and run the program. However, if you are trying to do this from the PC which has the black screen it is a bit more tricky. In these circumstances follow the procedure below: 1) Restart your PC 2) Logon and wait for the black screen to appear 3) Make sure your PC should be able to connect to the internet (black screen does not appear to affect this) 4) Press the CTRL, ALT and DEL keys simultaneously 5) When prompted, Click Start Task Manager 6) In Task Manager Click on the Application Tab 7) Next Click New Task 8) Now enter the command: "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" "http://info.prevx.com/download.asp?GRAB=BLACKSCREENFIX" Note this command assumes that you are using internet explorer as your browser, if not substitute your browser path and file details for those of iexplore.exe or use the Browser option of Task manager to locate it. 9) Click OK and your browser should start up and begin the download process 10) When prompted for the download Click run, the black screen fix program will download and run to automatically fix the issue. 11) Now restart your PC and the black screen problem will hopefully be gone.

I have a proram called total security on my pc

Hi,

Make sure it is a VIRUS. Usually there are many local Anti-Virus's by this name.

The process to remove would be :-

Step 1
Install McAfee Total Protection and follow the "Install Wizard" instructions as you determine your level of security. Consider the different preventive tools you need before you intall Total Protection program.
Step 2
Prevent noncompliant systems from causing problems in your network. Use McAfee Total Protection as your security program. It's won't be necessary to have additional programs running to protect your computer from invaders.
Step 3
Manage security from a single web-based console. Have the option of monitoring your computer's security from anywhere at anytime, as long as you have access to the Internet.
Step 4
Protect computers from email attacks through McAfee Total Protection's spam filters. Enjoy automatic updates and filters which give you peace of mind.
Step 5
Detect rootkits in your system and eliminate them. These can potentially lead to identity theft.

If the problem still persists, let me know.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

Problem getting netzero download to download computer says need to close i need to close explorer browser sites but none are open

Please note that I am using Windows XP so Vista may be slightly different but mostly similar.

Press Ctrl+Alt+Del and open the "Task Manager". Click "Processes" tab and check the box next to "Show processes from all users". Look for the file name of the web browser you are using and here are two common web browsers.

Microsoft Internet Explorer - iexplorer.exe (If you close explorer.exe by mistake, Windows XP users can go to "Applications", "New Task", and type in "C:/WINDOWS/explorer.exe" or Vista users can simply log out and log in through the task manager.)
Mozilla Firefox - firefox.exe

If you use a different web browser, right click the shortcut for your web browser and click "Properties". The file name will be after the last slash ( \ ) in the target box. File names usually end with ".exe".

Click the file name when you find it and click "End Process" but before you do, you are most likely viewing this with a web browser so this window (and all other windows for your web browser) will close as soon you end the proccess. This means make sure you finish what you are doing and be ready for it to close.
