You have to do this all in standby mode. When you scroll up there should be a "Demo-ON" then push the am/fm tuner to the side like you are changing the channel. It will say then "Demo-Off".

Kenwood w-3537 how to turn off demo mode

To turn off the Demo mode you need to:

Press source button, then select stand by mode.

Using the FM/AM button select Demo display

To set the demo mode hold the source button for 2 seconds
it will switch from on and off.

If this doesn't help I have included a link of the manual, it's on page 25.

My kdc 138 is acting weird

CLICK HERE for your owners manual.

To exit DEMO mode - (see page 12)

And also pull the radio and check the brown TEL mute wire is not touching ground to activate the Telephone Mute option.

It should be taped off or terminated and is not used in your installation.

How to turn demo off kdc-mp3035

1. Be sure the unit is in the stand-by mode (ie: turned off)
2. Push the control knob towards FM or AM. Select the DEMO display
3. To set the DEMO mode, do this:
Press the control knob for at least 2 seconds. The demonstration mode alternates between DEMO ON and DEMO OFF.

Although it doesn't say, i would imagine you need to press the MENU button to exit this screen.

This information came from the instruction manual that I was able to download from the internet. Shoot me an e-mail and I'll forward it off to you.
