Question about Hotpoint Washing Machines
Does it do this with no clothes in - or only when loaded? It could be that one or more of the springs or gas struts has come off, or broken. The springs are usually visible under the top cover, and the gas struts - they look like car shock absorbers - are usually visible down at floor level.
How to fix it depends on what you find, so please let me know before doing the rating bit :-)
If these suggestions do help you solve the problem, please give my reply a rating to help others judge my knowledge / guessing skills. If they do not, please delay the rating and add a comment
with more details so I can try to help you further. Cheers, D
