Due to some virus attack the file might have got corrupted so due to that you are facing that problem ...

first just install some good antivirus and search for the virus & heal that virus after that reinstalling the OS XP solves your problem ...

if you have the antivirus installed already then it might not have updated from many days so it couldnt able to detect the virus ...

so i recommend you to install good antivirus & keep it updating once in a month atleast..
if it is already installed then keep it updating at least once in a month ...

When i write a massage i cant see my massage it appears wite and web cam also not showing any image

The first thing to check is to make sure you have scripting enabled in Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is integrated into Yahoo Messenger so things that go wrong with IE can affect Yahoo Messenger. Here is the yahoo help page about that: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/messeng...

2) In the Start Menu click on Run. Type, without the quotes, "regsvr32 jscript.dll" and then click OK. Next, repeat the process but this time type in the Run box "regsvr32 vbscript.dll" and click OK. Please note, if you are using Windows Vista temporarily disable the User Account Control (UAC). You can easily turn it back on. On the Control Panel (Category View) choose User Accounts and Family Safety, next choose User Accounts, and then click Turn User Account Control on or off.

3) If the above does not fix your problem and you are using Windows XP, you can update your Windows Script to version 5.7. In my experience helping others, this is the step that has helped the most people. Exit all browser windows and chat programs including Yahoo Messenger before installing. run registry cleaner reginout to easily fix it

How can I fix my gdi.dll, it needs to be downloaded and my toolbars are gone and cant be accessible, I accidentally erase it

gdi.dll should be located in the i386 directory. You may find a copy of it in a directory called DLLCache under the C:\windows\ directory. Hope that helps.

Redownload IE. Somehow you are missing a .dll. DLL is a file associated with programs that is dynamic in nature, in which the program writes onto it or removes info from it. You can D/L on another PC then install on yours via CD or memory stick - Firefox, or Google Chrome browser then visit the windows family update site and d/l the latest version of IE. When starting up Windows XP - the process stops and I get the message C0000135 application failed because user32.dll wasnot found. I have tried to start in safe mode but the same problem re-appears. ie:...

I've just seen this on another users pc, here is how i solved it:

Start from your xp disk (recovery disk that you got with your machine or retail copy of xp), when prompted go into recovery mode (press r at the menu)

when in the recovery mode go to c:\windows\$NtServicePackUninstall$ and type

copy user32.dll c:\windows\system32\

then type 'exit' without quotes to reboot

your system will now boot up fine

(note there may be a copy of the user32.dll file in c:\windows\system32\dllcache\ as well)

Blue Screen

Use the following steps to replace the missing files when Windows cannot start.

  1. Turn the computer on and place the first recovery disc into the top drive.
  2. After inserting the disc, turn the computer off, wait about ten seconds, and turn the computer on again.
  3. If an HP Recovery screen displays "Press any key to continue...", press the spacebar.
  4. To continue, read the warning screen and click OK.
  5. Click Advanced Options at the top of the screen.
  6. Click Selective Recovery.
  7. Read the Select Files to Restore window that appears.
  8. Type the name of the file. For example, if the error message is MNYUTIL.DLL is linked to missing export MFC42.DLL, type MFC*.DLL.
  9. Click OK. If there is more than one recovery disc, it may be necessary to insert another disc when prompted.
  10. When therecovery process has finished copying files, remove the disc andrestart the computer. If problems, persist it may be necessary toperform a system restore or a non-destructive recovery.
(Note: Click here for information on ordering the recovery CD/DVD sets)

thx.

DRVSTORE

Just right click on DRVSTORE folder and select properties.
A new window will appear on the screen and in Attributes, there is an Advanced Button.
Click on that button and uncheck "compress content to save disk space".
click on apply and click on OK.
you will notice that the blue color is turned into BLACK again.

I can not install OfficeSuite. I have Windows Vista home Premium. I had downloaded updates all afternoon and it still shows error 1719 Window installer not correctly installed. Help!

Download:Windows Vista Service Pack 1

I tried personally in WIN-XP worked same applies to Vista.

Error Message:
Error 1719. The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. You may be running in safe mode or Windows Installer may not be correctly installed. Translation:
This message might appear when you’re trying to add or remove a program that installs via a Windows Installer MSI (Microsoft Software Installation) package file. The Windows Installer Service is the standard method for installing and uninstalling software on Windows XP. It keeps track of all of the components that need to be installed for a particular program to run and ensures that any files that are shared by programs are not removed when one of those programs is uninstalled. The Error 1719 is an indication that some Windows Installer Service files are missing or have become damaged. Solution:
The first thing to try is re-registering Windows Installer in the Windows registry. Make sure that no other programs are running and then click Start, Run, type msiexec /unregister in the Open field, and click OK. Next, click Start, Run, type misexec /regserver in the Open field, and click OK. Restart your computer and try installing or uninstalling again.

If you’re still getting the error message, the next step is to try reinstalling the Windows Installer files. In order to do this, you’ll first need to rename the existing files.

First, click Start, Run, and type msiexec /unregister in the Open field, and click OK.

In My Computer, click Search and locate the following three files: msi.dll, msiexec.exe, and msihnd.dll. They are hidden files so you’ll need to select Search Hidden Files And Folders under More Advanced Options. When you’ve found the files, rename them, by removing the .dll and .exe extensions and replacing them with an .old extension(for example msi.dll becomes msi.old).

Once you’ve renamed the files, WinXP will automatically replace them with a new copy from the dllcache (a hidden folder where copies of important system files are kept in case you mistakenly delete or rename critical system files). Restart your computer and try to install or uninstall the program again.

Finally, if neither of the above processes corrects the problem, boot into Safe Mode, and go through the above steps again, first re-registering and then reinstalling.

BROWSEUI.dll

Got to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Lanel. Go to Windows components and remove Internet Explorer and then add it back. That 'should' restore that file.

if the above doesn't work see if you can access this folder,
c:\windows\servicepackfile\I386 or
Windows\System32\dllcache, there should be a copy of Browseui.dll in there to copy back to the System32 folder. You will have to reboot your machine after copying it back
