Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3
When I set my Master Volume to "Vibrate Only", the phone does not vibrate when I recieve calls or text messages. The phone does not vibrate on any setting
I'm not sure what carrier you have but have you set the phone to "Vibrate Only" and then go into Tools/Ring Styles/Vibrate Only Detail and try selecting a few various vibrate settings? When you step through the various selections, the phone should vibrate and give you an example of each. If it doesn't, the ******** motor may be defective.
The ******** motor is just a very small motor with a piece of metal (usually in the shape of a half moon) mounted on the motor shaft. Since the metal is not symetrical it causes a vibration when the motor is activated.
