I have read many of the suggestions and seem to have tried them all. This mouse is wireless and was working fine, but now not at all. My bluetooth on my laptop is working for sure since I have wireless printing capabilities still. I have uninstalled logitech from my computer and reinstalled but my mouse is still not recognized. I'm not too savvy at this, any suggestions?

Re: Mouse does not work
Try disconnecting the Mouse Receiver from the
USB port and reinstall the CD software program. When
the program asks you to connect the MouseReceiver to the USB
port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud

The GE 98811 ergonomic Wireless mini mouse is a HID compliant mouse you will need to change the setting to use this mouse. This is what I would suggest:
Go to device manager
Go to the unknown device
Manually pick a driver
Mice and other pointing devices
***Change to a HID compliant mouse***
Then press the connect buttons on both pieces of hardware and the mouse should work
Hope this helps, it took me over two hours to get the mouse working. Very frustrating!!
It is not the problem with the mouse Since you have said "I have
to key in Ctrl-Alt-Delete to unfreeze it"
Which means an application in the os is taking a lot of memory and cpu consumption thats why it seems not working
****************** To confirm it(Whether mouse is causing trouble)) try running any live operating system(Linux,ubuntu,suse,fedora..etc) or different os(LInux...etc)and check whether the problem still persists
Did you try
Turn the mouse over and find the small
rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it to
Reset/Connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly.
If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press
the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or
Hope this helps you. Bud
Today I tried pressing the reset button on the bottom of the mouse, and at the same time pressed the button on the top of the remote reciever. I'd pressed both in the past, but never at the same time. This seems to have fixed this problem. I hope it's a solution for others also.
Have you tried re-setting the frequency for one of the devices? simply click the button on the infra-red unit then click the button on the back of keyboard and notice the infra-red unit stopped scanning.
have you checked the battries in the mouse as the battries that com with the mouse don't last long and have you pressed the connect buttons on receiver and mouse as somtimes usb power receivers loose connection on laptops try this one.
hope this works
