You can run a pot of white vinegar through it and you may also want to grab the model number and google owners manual with that detail.... owners manuals are typically readily available online form all manufacturers....

How do I get a manual for my Mr Coffee BVMCPSTX91-WN? the clean light is on and I don't how how to clean it or how to get the light off

The Mr Coffee web site has the manual on the product page: http://www.mrcoffee.com/coffee-makers/mr.-coffee-optimal-brew-10-cup-thermal-coffeemaker-black/BVMC-PSTX91.html . Click on the Service and Support tab. The direct link to the manual is http://demandware.edgesuite.net/aamb_prd/on/demandware.static/Sites-mr-coffee-Site/Sites-mr-coffee-Library/default/v1426159971356/documents/instruction-manuals/BVMC-PSTX91_43_72624326.PDF . (You'll need Adobe Reader or a similar program to print the manual.)

The Clean light will come on when the Clean button is held. It won't go off until the cleaning cycle is complete; it's completely automated. You need 4 cups (20 oz.) of white vinegar or the Mr. Coffee Cleaner (diluted as directed on the package). Make sure to remove the water filter disk from the unit before cleaning. Pour the vinegar or cleaning solution into the reservoir into the reservoir. Put in a paper coffee filter or the permanent filter into the brew basket and slide it into place. Put the empty decanter in place. Now you should press the Clean button until the Clean light comes on. The unit should slow brew 3 cups of the cleaning solution and then pause for about 30 minutes while the Clean light remains on. It should then brew the remaining solution. After the cycle finishes, the Clean light should go off. Afterwards, you need to empty the decanter and rinse it with clean water. Fill the reservoir with fresh, clean water. Then replace the decanter. The cycle could take an hour.

I hope this helps.

(some brewing systems light the Clean lamp when it's time to clean the unit after lime deposits build up. To my knowledge, most of the Mr. Coffee brewers do not.)

Shows that it is ready to brew, but says "de scale"

What model do you have? I'm guessing we are talking coffee maker, is it a Keurig? If you're getting a message saying to "de-scale" it need a good cleaning. That's usually the issue & the quickest fix. If the Keurig (or any other coffee maker) gets lime/calcium build up on the internal components it will ignore whatever has been programmed into it & just keep cutting off or keep making partial cups. Run some white vinegar thru it - fill the reservoir with a strong vinegar/water mix, remove any kcups/my kcup or filters, also remove the reservoir carbon filter ( fyi - that's not going to eliminate any lime/calcium in your water - it's just to eliminate any bad tastes/odors) and "make" how ever many cups it takes to empty the reservoir. Depending on the build up - you may need to do this 2 or 3 times. Also run about 2 more reservoirs of just clear water to help rinse out the vinegar mix (otherwise your next cup of coffee will not be what you expected).
This should eliminate your problem & should be done every 2-3 mths, regardless of whatever the model of coffee maker you have. Good Luck.

Need to clean cuisinart 12 cup coffee on demand coffe pot. How do I clean?

Do you have the DCC-2000?

To delime a multi-cup coffee maker, mix white vinegar with water (1/3 vinegar and 2/3 water) and fill the water reservoir completely. Then turn the coffee maker on. Wait until the unit completes the "brewing" cycle and beeps 5 times. Turn off the coffee maker. Discard the liquid after the cycle. Then fill the reservoir with clean water and turn on again. When this cycle completes, again discard the liquid. Repeat the water rinse if you notice an odd taste to the coffee afterwards. (If the coffee maker still has deposits, repeat the vinegar cleaning cycle and rinse cycles.) There are commercial deliming products, mix them with water following the package directions.

The manual for the DCC-2000 is available as a link here: http://www.cuisinart.com/products/coffee_bar/dcc-2000.html . The direct link to the manual is http://www.cuisinart.com/share/pdf/manuals/dcc-2000.pdf .

I hope this helps.

This is the first time I'm using my Mr Coffee Frappe maker and after plugging in the machine and pushing the power button, nothing happens. Should the red light come on right away?

yes you should get some kind of power indicated that power is on the machine i would first check the circuit breaker and then assure that you have power coming out of the outlet after which you could then use a multimeter to folow where you do have power going to sometimes it could also be a bad switch on the unit itself but first assure where you do have power going to and any further questions message me back Thanks Rick

The red light on my coffee pot is on and will not go off. I have run cleaner thru the regular cycle now what? Its a 12 cup programmable Mr. Coffee.

I know this sounds like a pain but it takes a while toget that silly light to stop. Decalcifying your MR. COFFEE® Coffeemaker Minerals(calcium/limestone) found in water will leave deposits in your coffeemaker andaffect its performance. It's recommended that you regularly remove these depositsusing MR. COFFEE® Cleaner or vinegar. MR. COFFEE® Cleaner is available at manyretail stores or by calling the MR. COFFEE® Consumer Service Department at 1-800-MR COFFEE(1-800-672-6333). 1. Follow packageinstructions to prepare one batch of MR. COFFEE® Cleaner. Pour the mixture into the water reservoir. Before decalcifying, remove the water filtration disk from the machine. NOTE: 4 cups or 20 fl. oz. of undiluted, white householdvinegar may be used as a substitute for the cleaner. 2. Place an emptyMR. COFFEE® 10-12 cup basket-style paper filter or MR. COFFEE® permanent filter into the filter basketand slide the brew basket in place. 3. Place theempty decanter back in the unit. 4. Press theCLEAN button until the CLEAN indicator light turns on (Figure 9). For your convenience the cleaning cycle isautomatic. The entire cycle will take 45-60 minutes to complete. During thecleaning your coffeemaker will: a. Slow brewapprox. 3 cups of cleaning solution. b. Pause for 30minutes (the CLEAN light will remain on to alert you that the process is active). c. After 30minutes, your coffeemaker will brew the remainder of the cleaning solution. d. When complete, the CLEAN light will turn off and your coffeemaker will turn off. 5. Discard the cleaning solution and rinse the decanterthoroughly with clean water. 6. Fill the water reservoir with clean, fresh water. 7. Place the empty decanter back on the coffeemaker. 8. Remove and discard the paper filter usedduring the cleaning cycle. If a Mr. Coffee® permanent filter was used during cleaning, remove it andrinse it thoroughly before replacing it in the filter basket. 9. Begin brewingand allow the full brew cycle to complete. 10. Repeat steps 5 through 9 one more time.

Just purchased the unit 2 weeks ago. Worked great. Last night I left it plugged into an outlet - but turned "off". This AM the unit comes on; timer showing default @ 5 minutes; however, no...

I wonder if you are talking about a coffee maker?
It ended up being listed under Vacuums!-
Sorry about that-- It sounds like you arehaving trouble getting the maker to boil water, and move it thru the maker, no?

Anyway-- I don't see why leaving it 'on' all night should have done anything wrong-
But maybe the Coffee maker guys know more about this repair than we do in Vacuums-
Sorry about that

How do I clean my Keurig coffee maker?

I clean my Mr Coffee by pouring a half water/white vinegar into the water holder andturn the coffee maker on andlet the vinegar do its thing. A refill with a little lemon juice in the water gets rid of any vinegary smell left behind.
