How do you get the water too stop filling? If all you have too do is shut it off at the timer you probably have a bad pressure switch, if you have too shut the water off at the wall you probably have a bad fill valve.

In other words -- the drain line should be above the level of the washer lid top and in the line about 4-6 inches

Drain pipe overflows from washer

Something is blocking the drain and it can't keep up with the flow now. You can try cleaning the drain with an auger (available for not much money at home supply stores). You'll probably find a sock or lots of lint built up.

Ice maker is not stopping the water coming in to it and is overflowing.

Pull the plug if it stops the problem is in the ice maker itself. If it keeps on running the water valve is bad and has trash under the diaphragm. Remove it and get a replacement or take it apart and try to clean it out. (If over 5 to 6 years old the rubber in it will be bad and replacing it is for the best).

Please rate me as high as you can and thank you for using fixya.

Overflowed on Large load size

i think the water level sensor tube got filled when you had it on it's side, then after the first spin and drain cycle, the tube was again cleared out and ready for real action.
