If you are able to print normally from this model, despite the 'stuck' faxes, then it could be that you have been sent a document that is not the same size as that in your tray. Try cutting A4, if that is what you have, down to 'legal' and see if will move on to next page. If this works, cut some more and print job till finished.
If the above makes no difference, you may have to do a memory reset to clear a corrupt fax record. Caution! this would clear all faxes queued in your machine.
fax element of the Printer contains a memory feature for storing
faxes in the event of a printing problem. This feature is useful for
protecting yourself against missing faxes if your printer runs out of
paper. In order to retrieve missed faxes, the feature must be
switched on when the faxes arrive. You can reprint faxes stored in
the device's memory from the main control panel. You should allow
approximately 5 minutes for this task, or longer if many faxes are
stored in the memory. Instructions: Load paper in the input
the "Setup" button on the front of the printer.
"Tools," then "Reprint Faxes From Memory."
"Cancel" to stop printing. Faxes are printed in reverse
order; the most recent fax is the last to print.
Deleting faxes from memory Use this procedure only if you are concerned someone else has access to your product and will try to reprint faxes from the reprint memory. CAUTION In addition to clearing the reprint memory, this procedure clears any fax currently being sent, unsent faxes pending redial, faxes scheduled to be sent at a future time, and faxes not printed or forwarded. To delete faxes from memory 1 Press menu/enter. 2 Press > once to display Fax Functions and press menu/enter. 3 Use the button to select Clear Saved Faxs, and press menu/enter. 4 Press menu/enter to confirm the deletion.
Press the [Menu] button on the Control Panel, until Reports is displayed on the top line of the Display Screen. The Phone Book menu item will be displayed on the bottom line.
Press the right or left arrow button to scroll until the report or list you want to print is displayed on the bottom line.

If you are getting a low ink message no you will not be able to fax until this is resolved. Once you replace the ink cart. then you can get to the steps where you can clear the fax memory until then the steps that we would give you will not work.
You can visit www.canon.com click on your printer model then on support and you can download the manual in this manual there will be step by step instructions on how to clear the memory on the fax. this can also be cleard once you print them keep that in mind. so first purchse ink then your going to print your faxes by hitting that button twice the reason why it will not work now is because your low on ink.
