The link below, will take you to the page showing that the dryer may ducted using the side exhaust kit, which is why you are unable to see it. It should be visible on the exterior of the house as a vent hood.
The burned lint on the heat screen should be cleaned and your dryer interior cleaned to prevent a lint fire. Then the vent should be cleaned to the outside.
