I have a 1990 cbr 600 just cleaned the carbs and when i started the bike it dies when i give it throttle please help also idileing high 2k -3k

The carb needs cleaning, likely blocked jets. Maybe a torn diaphragm or two.

turn the air screw and idle screw fully in then turn them 2 turns out this will set them for factory default then you can play with them when the bike is running

Sounds like the carbs were not properly cleaned or set up. Choke should cause the cold start rpms to be higher than what you are experiencing. Application of choke to a warmed up engine will usually cause the engine to stall.

I think the gas cap should be vented.Is it possible the vent is not working and the tank is forming a vaccuum stopping the fuel flow?Maybe try riding with the cap part way open with only enough fuel in the tank for the test.(So no fuel splashes out).
I read your problem and saw "any help would be appreciated" and this popped in my mind about the vent.

The idle rate can be adjusted using the idle screw on the carbs, if it is bogging down on take off, then it may be water in the carbs.

Check compression ratio and valves clearance.The carbs leak any fuel from their o-rings.Spray through the air box with a carb cleaner spray while pressing start button but little bit at a time.Don't twist the throttle too much and always use choke until she fires up for good.

wow, 7 years without use! try to check if the fuel pump motor is still working... also check the fuel lines if its clogged.. I hope you get your bike up and running again... feel that adrenaline rush when going 100+mph.. hehehe.. have a good one bro...

There seems to be fuel starvation to the carbs.
Check the fuel filter and the petcock, not bad too to clean the carb/s.
