I have had an email saying that I am 75% full up and I think it is all the spams in the blocked spams folder. I have been into tools and then into message rules and then into blocked senders list but there seems to be no way of deleting the whole lot. What do I do!

What email program are you using? Message rules or block senders list do not store mail, they are settings. Find your junk mail folder and delete all messages in it. Also it sounds like you may be leaving the messages on the server rather than actually pulling them down to your local system. Is this intentional or accidental? Who is your email with?

I cannot seem to get new emails despite people sending me emails.


Why don't you try checking your spam folder or the trash folder. Maybe the YAHOO! spam filter is blocking your emails, or your blocked them accidentally.

Hi. You haven't said what you are using for email. Do you use a webmail account like yahoo mail or do you get it through your internet service provider? Are you using an email program like Outlook? Can you send mail out?

The most common reason why email stops coming through is from some spam filter. The spam filter can be from you ISP (internet provider) or on your own machine. Usually spam filters will allow some mail through from a address, ie like a friend's address one time but not the next IF there was something in the subject line or body that it thinks is spam. Also sometimes they will block an entire domain if that domain (the part after the @ ie @spamsend.com ) is a suspected domain used by spammers. Check in your SPAM folder also check in your email's TRASH folder to make sure they haven't ended up there.

Another reason can be that a FIREWALL is blocking the port used for recieving mail has gotten blocked. That can be in your machine setup or in the router if you're using one.

And one last thing - your anti-virus software can be blocking it.

How can i block any spam e-mail


by adding the email address or domain name into spam/bad senders list of your email client.. or you can purchase an anti-spam software which is bundled with anti-virus such kaspersky internet security for reduce/block spam e-mail more efficiently..

1.please check your emails in Spam folder whether it may going to Spam folder.

Let me know which Email you are using : Yahoo,Rediff,Gmail or Outlook?

Check Spam Filter Options in Settings and remove the Filter which you want to allow.

If this issue still persists perform this below step

Open Internet Explorer .Click on Tools >> Options >> Advanced >> Restore settings.

Yahoo emails go to spam


Check your list of blocked addresses to see if their emails have been blocked. At times, when I check messages, I accidentally mark them as spam without realizing.

You can view your blocked addresses by clicking on "Options" and then "Blocked Addresses" To remove a block, just click on it and then click on "Remove Block".

How do i unlock my contacts?


1. Ensure they have the correct email address. Send them a test email, have them reply to it. If you cannot receive it, then you have something blocking the email, or re-directing it to Spam or Jumk email folders.

2. Look in the spam/junk email folders, see if the emails are there.

3. Log in to webmail, see if you can see the emails there. If you can, then you have some application blocking, removing them.
