Onkyo TX-SR605 7.1 Channels Receiver

Hdmi media drive Input

I have connected a media drive to the receiver using hdmi. Once the drive boots however, the signal drops out at a frequency around 1hz. The drive works fine with direct input to the tv.
I have the same problem.
