Hi,

some universal remotes have air conditioner codes now, try looking in the book you universal remote came with. Try going to the manufacturers website and see if you can order one. Try going to Value village second hand stores , they have a wall of bags with remotes in them sometimes, you might get lucky

good luck

You didn't say WHICH aircon, but generally all the major manufacturers will sell the remote as a spare part

YKR-K/002E cant switch it off with remote?

Make sure the batteries in the remote are good. Reset the aircon and the remote and try again. If not working, need to be fixed.

There may be a switch around the outdoor unit of the aircond for switch off.

Hi there Please help , not sure if the aircon needs to be re-gassed , bought a place with the aircon - a samsung silver nano . the aircon has been working fine but lately it seems that we only have...

I believe you're on the right track. The coolant gas may be low or absent all together. Having it professionally serviced will determine if that's the problem and also determine if their is a leak in the coolant system. Or it may simply be the control knob that's used to set the cooling function is not working.

Samsung aircon remote not working

Does your remote have batteries? If yes change them. Somewhere on the unit there should be a selector switch, put it into test and manually lower the thermostat setting

Need remote for a v-lec split type air conditioner

Why not try the dealer selling V - lec aircon? They are
in the best position to know where to get the replacements or clone remote controller for your unit.
Better still try surfing the internet, V-lec Aircon may have
a web site to service their clients. May this info, help you.

Need a conia airconditer remote control here in Australia. We have 2 split systems that use the same remote. Models CA 24003 & CA 3003. Conia have gone bust here and we can't get a replacement remote....

i had the same problem and i managed to find a universal remote control from JARCAR Electronics. Model of the remote: Digitech AR-1729. It doesn't list Conia as compatible but I managed to gain control of the aircon using the code: 291. For some reason when you press the power button on the remote, it's like your double pressing the on button so the aircon switches on and off quickly. You need to press the power button on the remote quickly and move it from reception before it powers down the unit again. At least I have control of the aircon again and I don't have to put up with these humid hot days in melbourne... Good Luck.

KELVINATOR AIR CON

More than likely it is the remote sensor in the indoor unit. Then again I presume that it is the correct remote control. Sometimes a remote for one aircon may not communicate with another aircon even if they are the same brand.
