Plug in DVD ram driver...

So I have had the most miserable time with this vdr-m50. I used to be able to plug it in and edit in windows movie maker. When my ex husband and I got divorced I was able to get the camera but now have a new computer with vista (just bought it a week ago). I went to plug it in and do what I used to be able to do but it says that I need to install the software for the dvddigicam vdr m50. It looks for the software online for me but comes up with no solution. I used to have the image mixer 3 but that is gone along with my ex...
I am not sure what to do at this point. I had just finally retrieved the camera and it has so many memories of my son. I looked up image mixer and found that i would have to buy a new one since I "lost" the other one. I can't affprd to do that at this point because of the financial strain this has all cause me. I know you said in one of your articles to install the ram driver in xp mode but I have no idea how to do that. I am so sad that this was the one thing I wanted to get back from him and now I can't even use it. Can you please help me. My email is g.danielle27@yahoo.com. I am not sure if you are able to email me (or if you even want to) I just don't know what else to do. I did go to best buy and they tried to sell me $100 in software but that just takes me back to the money issue again. Thank you for your time. I hope to hear from you soon.

I found a website that has it: http://members.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=1069501 Instead of paying they give you the option to click through a few ads to get the download. I downloaded it and it works fantastic!

Also, just to let you know I am running Windows Vista and I installed the driver in XP compatibility mode.

VDR M50 drivers for Windows Vista Ultimate

plug the camera in via usb so the camera shows up as a removeable drive. if it picks up the camera as a DVD burner instead of drive, install the DVD-RAM drivers (in compatibility mode for XP SP2 w/ administrative privileges if necessary) and browse the contents of the disc - copy and paste the VRO file to your hard drive and rename it as an mpg - should be readable at that point. good luck.

Looking for software and driver

Hi, Try copying and pasting this address into your web browser: http://www.panasonic.com.au/support/downloads/search_results.cfm?productID=2141&productCategoryID=173&formSubmitted=yes There are two drivers available depending on the specific camera you have, as well as the owners manual. I can't provide any other software from the CD. I would if I had it. Good luck. And thanks in advance for reviewing me.

Help - Capturing Video from a DVD-R Disc

I took the plunge based on manufacturers marketing claims and sales level tech support - Mistake! Panasonic VDR M50. The DVD-R disks are fairly straightforward. They can be played in my DVD video player and my PC, and I can use Fleximage DVD-to-AVI for conversion to a file format I can use for editing. The camera creates sequencial files for some reason and this software will only convert the first file. Very frustrating! I ended up playing the DVD-R on my DVD video player and using the video cable, transferred the video back to a DVD RAM disk on the camera. See DVD RAM problems below. The software that came with the camera has so far proven worthless. I have struggled with the DVD RAM disks. They are fabulous to use in shooting and editing on the camera but I cannot for the life of me get the DVD format converted off the DVD RAM. They cannot be read by my DVD video player or my DVD drive on my PC. I can see and even transfer the files to the PC through USB but for some reason, the DVD-to-AVI software will not recognize the files that were recorded and I cannot use the file format from the DVD ROM for anything other than viewing the video. Again, the software that came with the camera has so far proven worthless.
