Plug in DVD ram driver...

So I have had the most miserable time with this vdr-m50. I used to be able to plug it in and edit in windows movie maker. When my ex husband and I got divorced I was able to get the camera but now have a new computer with vista (just bought it a week ago). I went to plug it in and do what I used to be able to do but it says that I need to install the software for the dvddigicam vdr m50. It looks for the software online for me but comes up with no solution. I used to have the image mixer 3 but that is gone along with my ex...
I am not sure what to do at this point. I had just finally retrieved the camera and it has so many memories of my son. I looked up image mixer and found that i would have to buy a new one since I "lost" the other one. I can't affprd to do that at this point because of the financial strain this has all cause me. I know you said in one of your articles to install the ram driver in xp mode but I have no idea how to do that. I am so sad that this was the one thing I wanted to get back from him and now I can't even use it. Can you please help me. My email is g.danielle27@yahoo.com.
