SOURCE: Which glue to reattach chromed plastic to plastic?

Use old fashioned model cement. Not the child safe type. The old type will melt the styrene to the styrene. The new stuff only fills the gap but never really makes a good bond.

Kitchen faucet purwaterfilter

the light has a battery that 's not replaceable. it wears out and then the light doesn't work any more. you just have to guess when it's time to replace the cartridge. (I got a new filter that i like the color better, after i used the old one for a while after the light ceased working). might be under warranty.

Why is my Pur faucet filter so slow? It was not before

You either need to clean the the screen filters prior to as they may be blocked. The filter cartridge itself my need to be changed as you don't say how old it is.

What can be done to repair a leak from a tiny hole on the bottom of PUR water filter?

I am having the same issue. I've just replaced the filter and it started leaking out of this hole, where it never had before.
I am thinking that maybe the filter isn't seated properly, and that's causing the leak. But I have attached a picture of the hole in question. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

Can't remove the filter from my Pur Flavor Options faucet mount water filter

When mine gets stuck I stick the handle of a fork or spoon into the hole where the water comes out and use that to unscrew it. Works like a charm every time.

Water Filter Leaks

Since you weren't very specific where it leaks or when it started (like after a filter change) it could be tough to troubleshoot this leak.

If it is leaking at the faucet connection try tightening up where it screws onto the faucet. Depending on your strength (or lack of) you may need to use pliers to get a tight connection. Don't go crazy tight or it will crack the plastic fitting. If it still leaks remove the unit from the faucet and check the rubber washer inside where it screws onto the faucet. Make sure it's still there and is centered inside the cup and seated properly. Then reattach the unit to the faucet and tighten it well.

If it's leaking from the main body try removing the filter and reinstalling it making sure you have seated the filter properly and screwed on the cover correctly, and all the way. When it is tight the water outlet will be exactly at the bottom of the unit. Sometimes it's tricky getting it tight enough especially with wet hands.

Finally, if the leak is coming from the filter on/off selector this could be tough to fix. I would try firmly pushing and pulling the selector knob in and out several times while in both the on and off positions. This may re-seat the leaking seal. I wouldn't be too hopeful about this fix though. You may need to replace the unit if this part is leaking.
