OK, i got a new wii remote, set it up, and now none of my wii remotes are working including the one i just set up.

Try these two synchronization processes and if it still doesn't work than contact me:
  1. Press the Power button on the Wii console to turn it on.

  2. Open the SD Card Slot cover on the front of the Wii console. Remove the battery cover on the back of the Wii Remote you wish to sync up.

  3. Press and release the SYNC button just below the batteries on the Wii Remote; the Player LED will blink. Quickly press and release the SYNC button on the inside of the SD Card compartment on the console.

  4. When the Player LED blinking stops, the syncing is complete. The LED that is illuminated indicates the player number (1 through 4).

  5. This procedure must be followed for each additional Wii Remote added to your system.

    One Time Mode Synchronization
Press the HOME Button on a Wii Remote that is synchronized with the Wii console.

  1. Select the Wii Remote Settings option from the Home Button menu.

  2. Select the Reconnect Option.

  3. Press the 1 and 2 Buttons at the same time on the Wii Remote that you want to synchronize with the console. If you are syncing multiple Wii Remotes, press the 1 and 2 Buttons on each Wii Remote immediately (without a significant pause) in the order you want them synced. The order in which you synchronize Wii Remotes determines the player order (1 through 4) for multiplayer games. The Player LED will blink during the syncing process. When the blinking stops, the connection is complete.

Cars game only has one player as an option, how do I open/unlock 2 player mode? Tried 1 and 2 on second remote, nothing happened.

  • From the Disney/Pixar Toy Story Mania! opening screen, press the 1 button on Player 1 Wii remote to start.

  • At the "How many players?" (color palette) screen, point to the number of players (1 through 4) and press the A button.

  • Point to the desired color for each player and press the A button on the corresponding Wii remote. The player's number will be displayed in the color (for example: 1 in yellow, 2 in purple). Point to the green arrow and press the A button to advance.

  • At the name entry screen (Mr. Spell), starting with Player 1, point to the letters and press the A button to select. Once Player 1's name has been entered, point to "Enter" and press the A button to advance to the next player.

  • When all players' names have been entered, you may select from Story or Freeplay mode to begin playing. Freeplay mode will only contain games that were previously unlocked in Story mode. For more information on Disney/Pixar Toy Story Mania! game modes, see the game manual.

Wii hand will not show up we tried syncing, taking out batteries, unplugging and plugging sensor bar and nothig works

Synchronizing the Wii Remote with the Wii Console Synchronizing the Wii Remote to a Wii console allows the Wii Remote to communicate with the console. The Wii Remote included with your system should already be synchronized to your console. However, all additional Wii Remotes you use with your system also need to be synced in order to function properly..
There are two different modes of synchronizing (syncing):
    • STANDARD MODE - The Standard Mode procedure is used when adding additional Wii Remotes to your system or if you want to re-synchronize your original Wii Remote. Once synchronized, the Wii Remote will stay synced to the console unless you overwrite the settings by syncing the remote to a different console. For instructions on Standard Mode syncing, please click here.

    • ONE TIME MODE - This mode allows you to temporarily use your remote on a Wii console other than your own, or to use a friend's remote on your console. It can also be used to change the order of the Wii Remotes, without the need to turn off the Wii console. One Time Mode does not delete the Standard Mode setting stored in the Wii Remote. In this mode, the Wii Remote will only communicate with the Wii console while the power is on. When the power is turned off, the Wii Remote will lose its sync with the Wii Console. For instructions on One Time Mode setup, please click here.
Note: Only a Wii Remote in Standard Mode can turn the Wii console power ON or OFF.
      Standard Mode Synchronization
Note: Make sure you have placed batteries in the Wii Remote (how to).

Howcome my Wii DDR Hottest Party 2 mat doesn't work? It works when I tap it in choosing songs/options/etc, but it does not work at all when I'm stepping on it during the game/song! Please help!!

It must be plugged into player one for single play. Plug it into the slot that is closest to the power button. (i.e. it will have one dot under the connector to indicate player one.)

On multiplayer it sais every one is on the same team.

Can't remember off the top of my head but I think there is an option to choose how many players (including cpu) will be playing. You might have it set to 2. Go through the steps to setup your game and see if there might be an option to increase the number of players. You might think the number of players are referring to human players but it could be for ALL players. the game won't allow you to play 4 players with only 2 controllers anyway so try that out.

    Protron pd-007

I finally, after several months of just giving up, figured out how to get my Protron 007 DVD player to work. I hope this works for you. I have a Sanyo TV with the video controls on the front. Here are the instructions that worked for me.
    1. Turn on TV
    2. switch TV to video
    3. Wait for "Protron" screen (Try the PSCAN button it doesn't show.)
    4. Press setup and a menu will appear with 4 icons: Language, TV, a Hammer, and an Exit icon.
    5. The only two icons I needed to use were TV and the Hammer.
    6. TV icon: 4 choices: a) TV TYPE = choose 4.3 LB (mine was not set there); b) TV SYSTEM = NTSC; c) VIDEO = CBBS + S - video; d) DIGITAL OUT = SPDIF/RAW.
    7. HAMMER icon: 4 choices: a) PARENTAL - 8; b) PASSWORD - I didn't choose one; c) ANGLE MARK: ON; d) DEFAULT: Read.
Suggestion: If that doesn't work trying playing around with the settings to see if you can get the right combination.
I hope I made your day. I know how frustrating this can be.
