You should try installing the latest driver for the sound and for the Vista OS.

You mat download the driver from the manufacturers website.

Sound disappeared after installing windows vista

If you do a clean install all programs and drivers will disappear thats why ou need to install the driver of your sound card. Usually all drivers are included when you purchase a Toshiba Laptop. Incase you cant find the CD or you dont have an installer you can download the latest driver on Toshiba's Website

ur laptop speakers might not be working properly or ur audio driver was not installed successfully. firstly install audio driver for windows vista.

Low sound on speakers

Sound issues are existent withinin vista onwards as is decreased from normal as with xp and previous. To fix problem of this depends on installing an appropriate os system...

Sound card dont work

can u install sound driver of your laptop if u have not install then install form the recovery cd or drvier & utility cd/dvd of your laptop its come with a laptop or if u have miss that cd then u need to download your sound driver

Downgrated from vista to xp pro sp3 now no sound/dvd

install the drivers for xp, if you dont have, download from its web site

i think your laptop is recommended for windows xp sp2 ...
so if you install the sp2 then the sound may work ....
if you have motherboard cd then get it installed
tell me your laptop model otherwise exactly i will get you the links to drivers to download...........

Sound Problem

hiya! 1st of all i recomend u to uninstall vista!!!! we should all wait a little more to use them! the drivers are not all yet ready for vista! i believe that the soundbox u have is not very new...if its so, u have installed the driver for your sound card but not for your soundbox..i believe u wouldnt have had that problem in windows xp cause it instals "it self" the, try find your soundbox's drivers and install all of them
