2002 4 ton Bryant air conditioner shuts off, fan still runs but not cooling is problem in the controls in the attic or in the AC unit or both?

With a non heat pump it is a simple 24 volt AC control circuit. In the attic there is a relay that is actuated via the fan control wire directly from the thermostat. On the thermostat there is an auto/man switch that controls the fan. Manual the fan runs all the time. Auto fan turns on and off with the outside compressor.

If the system is not calling for cool and the fan continues to run the fan relay is sticking. common problem. Sometimes after running for several days the relay will stop sticking if not, replace relay.

If the system is calling for cool and the compressor stops I would still expect the fan to run until thermostat tells the A/C to off. Some compressor units include a safety switch or high-pressure cut-out switch A blocked internal valve bad control board or external fan in outside unit defective no air flow in outside unit.
High pressure cut out not good,

Suggest turning temp max cool and observe. If acceptable cool and the compressor runs without interruption all is good, except for the blower in the attic. Safely check relay in attic blower circuit.

Hope this helps.

How much load of two ton Ac

30 Amp X 2 would seem to be a 60 amp draw MAX, easily handled on an individual 30 amp circuit, providing they were not running non - stop. I would not run 2 AC's on any one home circuit. One 2 ton unit requires a 30 amp breaker for individual use.

Temp Control Problems

Hi, hild, first thing; stop the AC by remote controler, than select the fan option pressing by mode button and next start the AC, wait 8 minutes, if the unit still blows cold air, the thermistor has to be replaced. I hope this was helpful to you! success!

My air condition won't stop running even the is in auto mode

Hello, try taking the tstat off the wall and disconnecting the wires, if this turns off ac then you have a bad tstat. If not then the relay on the control board is defective and the board must be replaced. If you are just referring to the outside unit running non stop then tne contactor coil is defevtive and must be replaced.

Stopped running. I failed to secure the bowl and it came loose while running. I stopped it quickly but the mixer stopped running after that.

there is a thermal fuse inside tapped in-line of AC cord .if it was under a heated load it will blow non resettable . need a test meter to check for continuity .electrical flow . with machine not plug in , these items are very small .187 diameter and are crimped in line of AC cord , these are going to cost about $8-10 dls us can be bought @ Radio Shack rating should be about 8-10 amperage , good luck >^.^<

Lg split indoor fan runs non stop

Hello Hamid,
The unit is designed to run the indoor fanmotors continuously when in cooling mode on both indoor units (evaporators). The reason is that this circulates the air and the temperature thermistor or sensor is able to sense return air temperature and in turn start or stop the outdoor unit and compressor as required according to the setpoint temperature. The reason for either unit not reaching setpoint temperature can be a couple of reasons. A) Incorrect design - the unit may be too small for the application. You can calculate this roughly at 650BTU per square meter of room in a relatively warm ambient climate. Or secondly B) The outdoor unit has leaked and is short of refrigerant. You can check this when the outdoor unit is running by feeling the thicker copper tube on the right hand side of the unit. This should be cool to cold. If no temperature difference is felt, it is short of refrigerant. Hope this helps you. Goodbye
