I get green curve lines and some flashing green light

Most likely it is the green CRT that is failing. Unfortunately Sony does not support these models much anymore. What they require is to send the CRT with the Optic Coupler to them so they can mount a new green CRT to the Coupler then send it back to you. For the cost and time it takes to do this I recommend you replace the set with a LCD, LED, flat screen set.
I hope this helps,

The only problem you have is that you dont give back people their hard earned money. Make possession of their things. They trusted you and you do this. Bad things will happen to you and its just because of your own doings.

Samsung SP47W3HFX tv blue flickering curved line..

If the lines are slightly curved and stationary on about 2/3 of the screen its either the Blue CRT or the Blue CRT drive board which is having the problem.

Need to get an old toshiba 50" rear projection out of basement...do they come apart?

on most rear projection tvs there are two screws that hold the mirror in the back portion in the out position they are normally located on the flat part of the back next to the curved plastic they are removed and the mirror is hinged to fold in to allow to fit through doorways if that is the problem if weight is the issue they can be dismantled farther would reccommend
take digital pictures or vedio to allow you to put back together if you are going to reuse

Picture looks curved on screen not flat and straight across. Images have pink and green streaks on them. We lined up the convergence as best we could but its not perfect and the screen still looks curved.

Try adjusting the convergence. If it won't move see below- (or hitting Magic Focus for some Hitachi’s)

This sounds like convergence output IC problem. convergence board would have to be removed - remove and replace 2 STK IC's and check the surrounding resistors. Shops usually $200-$400 Be sure to vote/rate me if this helped Thanks!

My Philips HDTV 60PP9202 has blue and red curved lines

Check to see if you can adjust the convergence. If you can't adjust the red and blue in all directions you need to replace the convergence chips and resistors. If you not sure how to check the convergence goto the site www.TvRepairKits.com and goto the Tips section.
