Hello....my name is karry and i am 8.anyway i have a toshiba notebook laptap and i always go to google images and type in girly backgrounds for computers and when i click on the photo i want to insert in my background it asks "are you sure you want to change your background?" and i click yes and it does a loading sign and after it is done loading i click the big red x button and my background is the same way it was before...plz plz help me cause i want a girly new background plz oh and here is my PERSONAL email if ya need anythin then just click away and type whateva u want to me.plz no dirty messages or any messages asking to have ***.here is the email now! Sounds like a burned screen. Contact the authorized service center for Toshiba, or any experienced service technician. This is a repairable fault; but need experience to do.

You could try downloading and reinstalling the webcam driver.

Get online and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "Toshiba Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support). Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating system when requested. Download and install the Webcam drivers.

You can always download Manycam and install it. Go to www.google.com and in the search box type: "download.cnet.com" (without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When the site opens look down on the left and you will see a gray area that says Find Software. Type "Manycam" (without the quotes) in the white search area then hit the search mirror. When it brings back your results look for the one that says ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it and install it. Make sure you remove the check box on any junky programs it would like to install. You only want to install ManyCam, no additions whatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use, and you will always know where your webcam software is.

To change your netbook's wallpaper, just click on an empty space on your desktop. Right click and choose Properties. Click on Desktop Tab. You will see there BACKGROUND and under it, listed are background photos that you can use. Just choose what you like, click Apply.
Alternately, you can go online and search for a photo you would like to be your background. Just right click on the photo and choose Set as Desktop Background.

get the installer disk from windows that is the only legal way to do it (hint)

That is an image file, it may have been moved or deleted, looks like from the file path it's a background image. If you want a quick solution you could just re-install the software. If you're feeling techy go into MS paint (start,programs,accessories,paint) open a new image paint the background black and save it as a .bmp called start.bg then place the file in the Toshiba\corona voila you've replaced the file...
