Do I need sata or eide for internal dvd writer on HP a1330n?

This model HP has a SATA disk controller.
You need a SATA DVD writer.
If you are not sure, when you remove the faulty DVD writer, take it with you when you go to purchase a nre DVD writer, make sure the new DVD writer has the same connectors as the faulty DVD writer.

My computer doesnt reconize my cd writer anymore, how can I fix this?

It's possible an update did you in. Install the device manually and use an older driver for install. If you've recently upgraded to Windows 7 from XP or Vista, this is a common problem as not all the manufacturers have their drivers up to date.

It looks like the network card is not working, or most likely the network card driver was deleted or corrupted. Re-install the network driver.

Wrong product key

The product key label should have the product listed as well. I suspect that the key label you are using is for the operating system itself NOT any product that runs under the OS. You will need to purchase the software in order to get this functioning.

Combo Drive LG : CD is not designed to run on Operating System

The 'autorun' sequence to run the disc might have been made for older operating systems. But that should not stop you from installing the driver for the 330 IDSL modem.

1. Go to start-> My computer. Locate your G: drive with the disc inside and right click on it. Choose explore and see if this allows you to view the contents of the disc. If there is a generic application labeled setup.exe execute it. If the application loads the driver for you then your in luck. If not then onto #2.

2. Your modem has been out for a while and has new drivers for it. You can always type in a search "SpeedTouch 330 IDSL modem" and download a more recent driver off the internet.

LG GSA-H62N WILL NOT INSTALL ON MY COMPUTER WITH VISTA HOME EDITION

Please check and let me know the exact model of your computer. If you have a door in front or on top you should see the exact model number. I want to make sure your system can handel a DVD writer. Are you replacing a cd with a DVD writer or adding a 2nd drive? On all compaqs the the new DVD drive needs to be set to CL(Cable Select ) on the back of the new DVD drive. Also make sure you have the right IDE cable and power.
