This is not a problem with the convergence circuitry which would cause a 3D picture. The problem you have is in the deflection circuitry. A repair on this would be challenging and we would most likely need a scope. A repairman may be a good idea and the repair cost will be in the $400s

good luck and let me know if you have any further questions

Hello,

Please try to reset by unplugging to the wall outlet for a while and then switch back on. some case can be resolve using that procedures. if not then you have to examine the all the connection inside or maybe you show me the picture of the problems to be analyze perfectly.

may be you need to re soldered some connection if the TV has no warranty at all. but if there is then you avail the warranty recommended.

The picture is flipped left-to-right or is upside-down or both. This cannot happen as a result of a failure. For a CRT-based TV or monitor, it almost certainly means that the wires to the horizontal or vertical deflection yoke have been swapped to enable the picture to appear correct when viewed via a mirror (horizontal only) or if the unit were mounted base-up to a ceiling (both). The remedy is simply to swap the two wires to the relevant deflection yoke(s). There may even be obvious splices to guide you. There is usually a connector with 4 relatively fat wires that go to the deflection yoke on the CRT neck (NOT the PCB attached to the tube base). If you don't have a schematic, trace these on the main PCB back to their origin. The horizontal will originate somewhere in the vicinity of the flyback transformer. It may be possible to disengage the wires from the connector shell and swap them there. If not, cut, splice, and solder. Adjustment of the appropriate centering controls may be needed. For flat panel displays, it is even more unlikely this would happen as a result of a hardware failure. Most likely, there is a mode setting in the one of the setup menus for the TV or monitor itself. It could also be in the receiver for the TV, or the driver or application software of the PC. If the source is a video projector, the menu setting is likely there, to select between front and rear projection (horizontal) or table or ceiling mount (both). So, don't bother to open up the flat panel TV or monitor. The problem is not there! :)

Mitsubishi VS 50707 ( not 705)

I have the same TV built in 99. My problem is similar but the vertical hold gives out when the tv warms up about 5 minutes. I will attempt to locate the vertical hold circuit and replace any parts I suspects may be the problem. I suspect a cap is leaking or transitor around IC700 is degrading when warm.

The same is true for rear projection. There may be an adjustment for vertical hold in a hole in the back of the cabinet.

Mitsubishi VS-60705 - picture flutters vertically and horizontally

This sounds like one of the 9 volt regulators on the small signal board is going bad, supplying less than 8 volts. I have seen this is several of those sets. The IC needs to be replaced and if you do not have experience in servicing projection TV's then I suggest letting a qualified tech handle it for you.

Horrizontal fluttering when warmed up.

1. HORIZONTAL PULLING AND TEARING, MAY ALSO HAVE VERTICAL ROLLING OR VERTICAL BLANKING BAR LOCKING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PICTURE. CHECK C2C52 10 UFD @ 50 V OFF THE BASE OF Q2C51 ON THE SIGNAL PCB. 2. CHECK C2P05 100 UFD 16 V OFF PIN 3 OF IC2P01 (9-VOLT REGULATOR) ON THE SIGNAL PCB
