You need to contact Comcast tech support. They will help you with your problems on their system.

    I am kinda confused as to why you give a "Thanks for Trying" mark when told to deal with your service provider tech support that is FREE when you say that you are deffinatly using the correct username and password. If everything is ok on your side and its still an issue connecting to them then you need to talk to them, its not something that we here can fix.

    Have you already have talked to comcast about it? Did they say its on your side. Did they attempt to help you? If so what was already done so we dont repeat the same steps. Is there more detail you can give us so that we can help you with your problem?

So you are trying to record to your DVR threw a pc or smart phone. If your user name or password is not correct you will have to call customer service 800-226-2278 or try to remember what you created for that when you signed up for internet.

Did you change your internet provider from at&t to comcast? If so, try using your comcast email address as the user id and rest your password.

Jim, in order for someone to help you you will need to provide more information. In general when you register you provide a user name and then create a pass word. So if you picked jimclarke your would log in using jimclark@emailname and then put in your password. emailname would be yahoo gmail aol or your internet provider name ie comcast, bellsouth att etc depending on what provider you are using. If you do not have this information then try registering again. Good Luck

Is there a reason why I need an authorized account to watch Comcast XFINITY? I am currently unable to watch it on my computer.

I would venture to say you dont know your Comcast user name and password. If not then you need call and get it 800-226-2278. Either that or your using a secondary email account that does not have billing authorization.

Has this just happened recently, or have you always had this problem? Are you sure you're using the correct user name and password? If you've forgotten your password you can request that it be sent to your email, as long as you still use the same email account that you used when you signed up for Yahoo Instant Messenger. It's always good to keep your account up to date, if you change your email address, for example, you should go to your Yahoo account and change it there, so in the case of forgotten password, the information will be sent to the new email address, instead of the one used to sign up with.
If you are sure that you are using the correct user name and password, however, how long have you been unable to sign in. Please provide more information so I can better help you.

If you have type in your your credentials correctly and still get "invalid user name or password" probably your account had been hijacked by someone or you have not been use your account for a long time and sometime dormant account is deleted.

Don't fret just create a new account with msn.

My messenger shows some one else signed in even after changing pass word.

delete the other user name from the sign in box, type in your user name then pasword, and click the boxes that says remember me and remember my password
