Question about Garmin GPS
The battery can be replaced. You'll need to take the unit apart and look at the ratings and physical dimensions of the battery. There will be a part number on the battery but it will be specific to the manufacturer of the battery. The rating numbers you are interested in are the mAH and voltage. You'll want to find a battery that has the same voltage and at least the same mAH rating or higher. The higher the mAH rating, the longer the battery will last between recharges. Make sure the new battery will fit inside your GPS. There will probably be a plug on the old battery that was in your unit. The new battery may only have wires. You can splice the old plug on the new battery, just make sure you get the polarity correct.
