Ok :-) I am assuming that you mean Windows XP service pack 2? Well if you do you should go to this link and download it from here http://www.soft32.com/download_992.html But to tell you the truth If you haven't downloaded service pack 2 yet. You have ALOT of other software to download and install. And Im pretty sure that they just came out with a windows Xp service pack 3. If you want to download that other software you should go to Microsoft Windows Update

Do I need Microsoft.net Framework 2.0 service pack2 if Microsoft service pack 3 is installed both are huge programs

I believe that's a yes. The service pack normally won't install unless the previous one is there because some of the software is just updating previous software.

Please rate if helpful.

NEED A STEP BY STEP GUIDE ON UPGRADING

Upgrading the computer to the faster CPU, memory, hard disk, can be possible. First find out the motherboard supports higher CPU already , then find the right CPU for the upgrade,. Maximum memory that can be added in the comuter and type of memory supported by the motherboard. If you need more capacity for Hard disk get high capacity harddisk that the computer support. More important is make sure that the upgrade doesn't require to buy new operating system. Most upgrades are not cheper than purchasing new system considering all above needs. If you require to upgrade to more and latest system than it is better to buy a new system including operating system. The operating system may not support considerable difference in the computer system for upgrades.

No driver audio update...is crashing with window pack2

Try rolling back your drivers on the Audio Device itself in your Device Manager Setting. You can do that with that and still keep all the rest the newer drivers.

Modem connection/comcast cable

Hi,

Depending on what modem was issued to you by Comcast, it could be connected to your computer by either a USN cable or a LAN cable. If you availed of the "free self-install kit", then you would need to buy a LAN/Ethernet cable, as to my understanding Comcast does not issue this with the modem/router. Additional information may be sourced from here.

Just a start, do postback how things turned up or should you need additional information. Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa.
