Brand new unit. First run and it leaked out the front. Adjusted the level so the unit tilts back slightly and it still leaks. Still looking for a fix.

Did you fix it yet ? check water line fittings underneath if you can pull a bit out washer to watch underneath when running to see where and when in cycle it leaks don't touch any electrical connections safety first LOL. disconnect power wipe dry and then ren it through a quick wash or other cycle and see.

Jackie, It is probably a seal(gasket) leaking, you may want a service tech. to have a look.

My Danby 1805 portable dishwasher leaks from underneath only when the water is being pumped back from the washer to the sink. My repair technician was not able to find the leak by looking from underneath...

Your pump may be cracked or a drain hose may have a hole. Also check the dishwasher housing not the cabinet that you can see I have seen small holds due to defects in the plastic that the housing is made up of. Of time with heat and moisture these hols may appear. Look for small crackes in crevices. They are hard to detect once the cabinet is removed start the dishwasher and have flashlight to see exactly where water is coming from.

If you have anymore questions please comment me back.

My brand new still in the box dishwasher was leaking in my truck and now is leaking on my kitchen floor. Is this normal?

No, this is not normal. Sometimes a unit gets frozen (cold) and cracks plastic. Sometimes a hose gets pulled off.
The amount of water allowed to leak needs to be zero.

Pull the unit, get lots of light, mirrors possibly, and find what is leaking... Once you identify where the water is coming from, you will know how to proceed.

Zero water leaks.

Water won't come into the dishwasher

The anti flood system could have been triggered due to a water leak or spill at the bottom of the washer, This device (polysireene float and micro switch) when triggered shuts off the inlet water and puts the washer in pump out mode only. Use a torch and check if a small amout of water is causing the float to trigger the microswitch attached to the float. If a small amount of water leak / spill is causing this you need to first fix the spill / leak. before you try again.

Hear the motor running, no water in dishwasher

I thought I would fix this myself - but hubby took a look, wiggled a few wires and said 'there's your problem'. The water valve would not open because a connecting wire was loose. It was the kitten after all - I'd better pop that panel back on.

The cupboard next to dishwasher becomes full of condensation during drying cycle

Is the machine properly lined up?

Could be a small leak at the top - won't leak water, but steam can escape maybe.

Leaking dishwasher

what sort of soap powder do you use
some soap powders foam a lot in machine causing dishwasher to leak through seals
also check that the machine is square that is the door is closing parallel with cabinet
do not use power balls in machine just standard dishwasher detergent and separate rinse aid
