The power surge has gone through the system, this can be tricky to troubleshoot because the problem is somewhere from the power supply to the audio output stage of your amplifier. I suggest a good technician for this job.

Where to order cords

Any Hi-Fi store will be able to provide them. Amazon have a good selection of cables and wires. As with all cables and wires with hi-fi the better quality sound you want the more expensive the cables you need to get. But it's your choice. You will need to specify which cables you need, based on the connections between your hi-fi and the Receiver.

Why do I have sound when I turn on my dvd and not when it is just the tv?

Where does the sound come from ? Is it a type of Amplifier with speakers connected to it ? Suspect audio cables go from DVD player to HI FI Amplifier. You may need to feed Audio cables from TV Audio Out into a audio switch box with DVD audio cables and manually switch inputs into amplifier. You might just need cables on TV audio out into Amplifier ?

Sub keeps on sounding like a heartbeat and a blue light keeps on flashing every time this happens, there is no music or bass coming threw the sub... any soultions???

It sounds to me like your amplifier is getting caught in a loop-- the heartbeat is the subwoofer catching a surge of power from the amplifier. Make sure all of your connections are solid. If they are, try using the amplifier in another vehicle that is already set up for an amplifier. If it does not work, you may need to spring for a new amplifier.

THE SOUND THROUGH MY SONY HI-FI IS VERY LOW ALTHOUGH HI-FI SOUND IS AT 30 SOUNDS LIKE 6

Unless you have a dedicated 'PHONO' input for your turntable you will need a pre-amplifier to boost the signal level from the record cartridge.

I have a JVC ks-ax302 amplifier and the sound is surging(on/off) the sub still has sound. I noticed when the sound is surging the green light on the amp also surges. I checked the power inputs the both...

Check the RCA cables, this is generally a sign of the RCA cables grounding in the insulation. This would be if you are getting a sound like a heart beat from your subs.

This is a 160 watt amp though.

Could also be a weak ground. Make sure you use a solid ground like the seat belt bolt or brace behind the back seat. A solid ground is best if you remove any paint before bolting the ground down as well.

Also might be the amp is clipping. Try reducing your gains and double check to make sure you are using the proper wiring diagram. This is a 2 ohm stable amp, any lower ohm load will cause problems with the amp.

Sansui AU-X410R Amp, at power on, lights on but no sound (surge protection click doesn't occur). Sometimes powers off for no apparent reason.

One thing you could look at is that thing that makes the click, it could be a relay and they do go wacky sometimes (hence why it shuts down). If you are lucky it will tell you (on the relay) everything you need to replace it.

How would I attach my hi-fi Goodmans Speakers to a LSD TV

Your best bet to improve the bass is to attach the audio output of your HDTV to a stereo unit and amplify the audio with the amplifier. Attaching the speakers to the HDTV will not improve the sound much. Sorry.
