Question about Texas Instruments PDAs

My TI voyage 200 had been left in the sun in the car and the screen is completely black, I am looking for a repair service or a way to transfer the data to a new voyage 200

I suppose if the screen is only faulty you could replace the screen.

you should be able to tranfer the files from the voyage if it still works except for the screen, ones connected to the pc.

    How do I create a backup of the files on a graphing calculator using TI Connect?


    To create a backup of the files on a graphing calculator, please follow these steps:

    • Connect the TI Connectivity cable to the calculator and the PC.
    • Start the TI Connect software and click Backup.
    • Click on yellow folder with the green arrow to name the backup file.
    • Click save to keep the file name.
    • Press OK to start the back up file transfer.
    NOTE: This procedure will create a backup of all files contained in RAM. Flash applications will not be included in the backup.

    If the battery is dead and the device is melted then there is noting to recover except maybe some programs you may have stored if flash memory.

    -About 188K bytes user available RAM if the battery is dead then this is gone.



    -About 2.7 MB of user-available FLASH ROM - this should still be in there. But from reading the backup instructions it only backs up the RAM of the device.

Hi,

Trying running a cardboard or the edge of a business card around the space between the screen and the screen cover.. a small piece of dust or particle stucke there could result in problem like that.

I have htc p3452 unit, i've been trying to connect at sun wap zero, unfortunately i wasnt able to connect, i already open gprs and according to sun cellular representative i dont have problems...


Hi,

You will have to configure your proxy settings to access sun wap. You can ask your service provider to get the settings / parameters value for proxy.

If the display is not working you may check your Mobile LCD screen is broken or cracked and on the outside is completely intact but the inside looks like a smashed pain glass or if you can`t see anything on the screen try visiting mobile repair center. There is a black dot that looks like an eclipsed sun on the screen.


On the glass itself, or the lcd. Can you tell? If not on glass, LCD is bad. If on glass, maybe able to clean.

Strange symbol on screen of my blackberry pearl


Generally rectangular box appears when you are in Roaming. After doing the Hardreset still if you are getting rectangular box in your handheld kindly walk into the nearest service center.
A hard reset involves physically removing the battery from the smartphone and then reinserting it. To perform a hard reset, complete the following steps:
1) Remove the battery cover from the back of the BlackBerry smartphone.
2) Remove the battery, and then reinsert it after a few seconds.
3) Replace the battery cover.

BB screen is flickering on & off then turned black after in water


If your BlackBerry gets covered in water, act fast and rationally, and you may be able to save your device.
1. DO NOT TRY TO TURN IT ON
2. Pull out the battery.
3. Please your device and battery into a bowl of uncooked rice to absorb any moisture.
4. Please it in a warm, dry place where it can receive direct sunlight.
5. Be patient. It is recommended that you leave it in there for at least 48 hours.
6. After 48 hours, put the battery back in and power on.

have u every left it in the sun lcd screens can not be left in a car during the summer or winter the crystal ethier heats up or frezze causein the crack and discoloration in the screen Looking forward to helping u

when you are viewing the pic hit the menu button (look at bottom right of screen) scroll dow to object view and open it, hit save button (look bottom left of screen) that will give you the option to renam,e the pic and to save it ti either the phone or memory card
