Hi am looking an Instruction manual for a DSE LCD TV Model GE6400. This TV was brought at **** smith and it appears to be AWA product but there is no manual for it on there web site What the problem is it appears to be on a child lock and will only allows TV program that are rated (PG) to be view on the TV. Can you help to fix this problem I would assume with the instruction manual I could fix this problem or can you give me the code to reset the TV back to the original factory setting? A friend of mine has also lost hi manual and can't turn off subtitles - did you have any joy locating a manual? Help would be appreciated.

I have the GE6801 manual,
Lock Setting:
You can lock channels, set password, block programs and set parental guidance. Once you set the lock system on, you cannot search the channels or change any program.
1. press "MENU" to enter OSD menu, press"<"">"to select "LOCK"
2. press Up down arrow to select the desired item
3. press < > arrow ot adjust desired item
4. press MENU button to return to the upper menu.

the default password is 0000.
Block program: press up down arrow to choose the program, press teletext green button to block the program. If you want to unblock the program, enter the main menu, input password, then press green button again
Parential guidance: press < > button to choose the blocking of programs based on their classification, or to set "no-blocking".

If you had accidently changed password, I think you may have get it back to **** Smith to fix it. The factory has to reset it to default.

SUBTITLE problem:
During normal DTV program, you can press the button with 3 dot in a square located at lower botton of the remote. Then you can press up down button to highlight preferred subtitle, then press the ENTER button to display the available options. (the manual does not say how to deselect, I think it would be the similar process)
