Question about Canon imageRUNNER 5000 Copier

1 Answer

Thank you for your previous helpful reply, I have got another problem with my IR5000 copier. there are some tiny lines (delivery direction) on the outputs. I've checked and cleaned the drum several times (there some erasable lines on the drum which correspond to the lines on the output and one or two paralyzed sticky lines on it ). I've checked the developer assembly looking nothing wrong. Please be pleased to give the solution.

My printer is not printing straight

You need to align the cartridge. for that the simple way is open a document and select print from the menu,
in the print screen window select 'properties'
in the next window click 'maintenance'
in the next window there will be many options to clean, align, nozzle check etc etc... which you can do it for your self after reading each descriptions.
thank you

I TOLD U MY PROBLEM YESTERDAY ABOUT MY COPIER DL-460

I am hesitant to help you as you gave me a Not Helpful rating on my previous reply.
Your DL460 is the EXACT SAME machine as a Konica/Minolta Di450.
I am an expert on that machine.
I have the factory service manual for this machine.
The C910 code means that your second tray is not lifting properly as I told you in my previous reply. When you push this tray in a motor lifts the paper up until it trips a sensor. So you may have a lift motor problem or a sensor problem but I have NEVER had to replace either of these parts.
If reloading the tray did not help then you really only have 1 option to get your machine running.
Open tray 2 and LEAVE it open. The open and close the front foor to reset the code. If you leave tray to open a bit then you can at least use the other trays and use the copier until you can have a technician look at it.
Here is the line of text directly from the factory manual:

C0910: 2nd Drawer Paper Lift-Up Sensor malfunction

Error code E000020-0000 in cannon ir5000/6000

Main cause: The machine is not receiving toner properly because 1)The hopper connector is left disconnected. 2) The hopper motor (M9/M10) is faulty.3) The toner sensor (TS1/TS2) is faulty. 4) The DC controller PCB is faulty.
If you recently added toner, recheck that area.
Basically the copier is trying to add toner and is not getting it.

Canon ir5000 wont print from computer

hi michelle,

try this, first isolate your machine to the server, if you have laptop install the driver and connect the printer to the laptop via parallel cable.( use new if possible so that we will not doubt the cable itself) if the ir5000 is printing normally it could be the network or the server has a problem hope this will help
