Question about Hitachi RD6106 10-Cup Rice Cooker
I have this rice cooker but need an instruction manual. Do you know where I might locate one? Thanks for your assistance. Ellen
The Hitachi has notches on the inside of the pot. You put your rice in the pot and than start adding water until your water level reaches the notch labeled 7. Remember that the rice has to be inside the pot when you start adding water so that you will have the correct amount of water for the rice you're cooking. It doesn't work the other way around. Rice in pot than add water. But usually the average cup that comes with these rice cookers only holds 3/4 of a cup when you fill them to the top.
