Not real sure which model you have, one named is a semi-auto, the other is a bolt action. So if you have a bolt action, to reinstall the bolt you have to have the safety off, pull the trigger as you insert the bolt back in place (be sure it is unloaded and pointed in a safe direction). If for some reason the bolt has un-cocked you must first **** the bolt. some models have the firing mech. in the bolt.

MR2 first generation three dash lights

when these three lights come on, your alternator is not producing enough voltage to the vehicle. you should replace it. aftermarket parts are very inexpensive, but they don't last (i've had one last 4 months!)

start with a brand new toyota alternator. its pricey, but they last longer.

first you need to remove the coolant overflow bottle on the passenger side. you just have to lift up.

then remove the plug to the alternator, the 10mm nut holding a yellow wire on the alternator (goes to battery +) and finally remove the bolt on the slide bracket, and the long one through the bottom of the alternator.

remove the alternator straight upward. (takes a bit of maneuvering) or remove it your way, but this worked for me.

install the new alternator on the bracket with the long bolt, and then put the belt and slide bracket bolt back on.

clean all connections (battery post to battery terminal, battery terminal to the wire itself (it may be green. green is corrosion. strip back until you find copper and use that for a dependable connection) and finally the little wire you took off of the alternator itself has a little ring on it that should be cleaned.

reverse procedure for wiring. be sure to tension the belt properly, and youre good to go. no more 3 lights.

I have a Dyson I took out the screws to clean it before I opened the canister now I can not get it together again

You're a bit unclear on what screws you took apart to 'clean it'. If you took the canister apart, then this Snapguide page
How to Clean Dyson DC07 Canister goes through taking the top section thoroughly apart, and has some notes about things needing to line back up properly, which might help in the event that you're not getting things to snap back together right. I took mine apart solo after picking it up cheap at a flea market, and also recall reassembling the top took a little patience.

Good Luck!

I've dismantled egr valve on 2006 nissan patrol zd30, there is a metal gasket and I cannot remember where it goes?

Metal gasket goes toward the intake & egr valve

Gasket first, egr next, then the bolts

If you took the egr apart, you may as well buy a new one

Can't clean it anyway

So now I think that I had air getting in the "MAF" so I took it back off checked all the bolts, is there a gasket that goes on were the bolts connect?

Check for a crack on the intake hose. Large 2 1\2" hose at throttle body. Does the idle increase when you spray the carb cleaner. If it does you are spraying huge leak. There are no gaskets for the bolts. But may be an orang missing for the maf sensor

I have a compaqsdm4700p took all the keys off to clean under neath and don't know where each one goes back

1. Try to go to a Staples or other electronics store and copy down the key locations. Most are similar to yours...the rest you will have to use trial and error. 2. If you load Word and touch each key location you can see on the screen what is what>

I have a used Cub Cadet Model #144-664-100 that I purchased last year and used half of the summer and ran great but towards the end it wasn't cutting very cleanly. So I took off a mower blade, which was...

Have you tried running it with the blade back on? It may be ok as there is a braking system built into the pto clutch that makes the blades hard to turn by hand. Regards Phil

Toro Model 20017 pump bulb, runs 2 seconds then quits ....

I had the same problem. I took off the carborator and cleaned every opening I could find. As I was reassembling it, I noticed the holes in the bolt that holds the bowl on were plugged. I hadn't notice that fuel flows through the bolt to the carborator. I cleaned them out and the mower started fine. I suspect it was that all along. I would try cleaning out those holes before you take off the carborator.

Seat removal

The strap that goes around the seat bolts to the fender under the fender it's self or to the sides near the front of the fender struts or behind the saddle bags if you have them.
They are usually held on by either an allen bolt or a capped hex bolt.
If it is attached under the seat it is held by 1 bolt through both ends to 1 hole.
