Question about Coleman Mach 15 Air Conditioner
The first thing I would do is to give the unit a thourgh cleaning around motor and fan. Blow out with compressed air if possible and brush and vacumn out what you can get to.Check for oil ports on motor and add a few drops of fine grade of machine oil. If it's very new it is probably sealed bearing and no lubrication is possible.
If it is very low on freon the compressor may try to start then shut down due to low pressure. If it has service ports on it and you have ref. gauges you can see what the pressure is without the compressor on then switch it on and see what happens. If there is no change in pressure then compressor is not working and I would slowly add freon to see if it will start. I hope this helps you some. Thank you
