There's only one main power fuse, and it's located behind the control board assembly. Once you remove the board, you should see the fuse mounted in it's own clip. They're sometimes mounted on the white plastic bracket housing the door switches.

Do you have Turbochef Tornado oven.
If yes then here is your solution.
Open right side pannel and check physically the transformers and the capacitors and the diods.
If you found burnt or burnt smell then replace that component followed by the replacing of the new fuse.
The fuse is located just under the magnetron cooling fan.(there were 3 fuse you need to replace the last fuse (facing oven from front and the last fuse 20 amps).

If you know to use DMM and clamp meter then reply me back I will give another solution .
please rate my work

I have samsung microwave model MW830WA 120V 60HZ 800W IT IS DATED 2001. The fuse has been blown off last week. I want to know where the location of the fuse and what fuse to buy. Thank you, Phil

I know on my samsung it's right on top when you take off the outer cover. I also have an emerson and it's on the right side behind the control panel There is a white plastic cover over the fuse that just snaps apart.. I buy my fuses at radio shack. I know mine takes a 20 amp 250 volt.

Hi, I have a Panasonic microwave oven, model NN-S215MF/WF. The problem is that it has suddenly stopped heating... the light goes on, the plate goes round but no warming/ heating. I just want to know...

If you have 15 minutes and a screwdriver (don't know which type is used on your unit), I would unplug from the AC, remove the housing so you can see the floor of the frame and the control devices, look for a fuse to replace, keeping your hands and fingers clear of any bare terminals. This unit may have two fuses; one for the high voltage circuit for the magnetron, another for the other parts such as the control circuitry. The first fuse will be 15-20 amperes, the second much lower. If the fuses are visible and close to each other, make sure you know which fuse belongs where; they will have much different ratings for current.

Since the light and turntable are working, the lower value fuse is obviously OK, so if you find two fuses, remove and replace the higher value fuse.
If you do this, turn it on and the fuse blows again, then it is time to replace the unit with a new one since the other parts that can fail require a little technical background and a multimeter. The cost of having it done by a pro will likely amount to more than the unit is still worth.

How do you know the fuse in the microwave is no good?

first you need to see if the energy is being produced, go to an electronic store, here in UK Maplins ( US radio shack) and purchase some standard 5mm red led's cut off the leads close to the led.palce them in the oven and put on cook for 5 seconds, if they light then you have energy. if not then start looking for a large fuse inside the casing, check this and then check the control fuses on the boards.
lots of shops sell cheap fuse testers. best of luck
