My chainsaw model number is Husqvarna 5501625 how do I find out what year it is

There is a serial number plate on the saw. Usually under the loop handle, kind of hard to find. This will give you the year of the saw. The number you are giving does not follow Husqvarna style model. I am guessing it is a Model 55 and is a 2001 year, but check to make sure.

Year husqvarna 61 chainsaw serial number1983012237

Chances are, your saw is a model year 1983. Since they were made from 1979-2001, it fits in that category. MOST of the time, Husqvarna used only the first 2 digits of the serial # to display the year, but there are exceptions. Because of the number of digits in your serial # combined with it starting with "19" (there would be no model year 1919), I'm quite convinced it's an '83 model year. Your nearest Husqvarna dealer can verify this if you feel that it's absolutely necessary.

The serial number looks to be a 1996 year model.

Husqvarna serial number

Sure! Try the Partstore.com and if they list the part, they tell what models it comes on. Other sites should do the same or similar.

I am needing a manual for an 18: Husqvarna chainsaw. Serial Number 3490744. Need to know what type of oil, etc. to use in it. Thanks

We cannot answer without a model number. You can find what you seek here (if a model 18 it very old; please use the second link):
HusqvarnaUSA.com
http://www.husqvarna.com/us/homeowner/support/download-manuals/
Enter the 3 digit model number (no XPs, Es, just the numbers)
Serial number decode – useful when downloading IPLs and Manuals
06 1500198
06 = year produced – 2006 (single digit before 2000; please contact Husqvarna for single digit clarification http://www.husqvarna.com/us/homeowner/support/customer-support/)
15 = week produced – March
00198 = 198th unit Husky produced that week

Husky recommends 50:1 today (last 15 years ±)
Dolmar, Echo, Efco, Homelite, Husqvarna, Jonsered, Makita, Oleo-Mac, Red Max, Ryobi, Shindaiwa, Solo, Spear & Jackson, Stihl & Tanaka; all recommend 50:1.
1 gallon of premium fuel to 2.6 ounces of quality 2-cycle oil.
4 liters of premium fuel to 80 milliliters of quality 2-cycle oil.

I am faily certain 967 01 18-00 has to do with the EPA.

If 03 4103750 is the serial number then;
HusqvarnaUSA.com
http://www.husqvarna.com/us/homeowner/support/download-manuals/
Enter the 3 digit model number (no XPs, Es, just the numbers)
Serial number decode – useful when downloading IPLs and Manuals
03 4103750
03 = year produced – 2003 (single digit before 2000; please contact Husqvarna for single digit clarification http://www.husqvarna.com/us/homeowner/support/customer-support/)
41 = week produced – October (05-11)
03750 = 3750th unit Husky produced that week (not saw, unit)

If you have more questions or need additional help please reply below and I will get back to you. HTH & Good Luck.
