You would return it to the information on the box it was shipped in and/or log into the website to register a return.

No cd key with preinstalled "trial"

The pre-installed trial is just that. It does not come with a CD Key. It should allow you to just bypass entering a key then install anyway. It will work for the trial period then stop. You will need to purchase a license for the software to use it after the trial.

Tip

Nero Serial code key for registration

You can obtain a free nero burning rom 9 download and a serial key emailed to your email from ahead software / nero by signing up to the free trial - this will let you use the software legally as a trial for around 15 days, during this time you can burn dvd, cd and other media for free.

http://www.nero.com/eng/downloads-nero9-trial.php

After the trial is over, you must purchase the program, if you can't afford the program and if you want to get it cheaper than what they are asking for it, buy a new CD/DVD burner that has nero software included those generally cost around 20 to 30 $ from www.newegg.com

if you can't afford that either, then there are free alternatives to nero. For example cdburnerxp is a great program that will get the job done, it will burn your cd and dvds for free. Download -http://cdburnerxp.se/

If the software was a free trial it means just that. It's free for you to try. If you want to use it after the trial period, you must buy it to get the key.

Ok. I downloaded the trial version of iwork 09 and have been using it for writing some documents up. I decided to buy the boxed version and loaded it without taking out the trial version. I am now being...

You should not have installed the software from the CD. All you had to do was to simply open the trial version and then click Buy and insert the serial #. This unlocks trial version. You should uninstall the version you installed from the CD. This will leave the trial version. Open it and insert the serial # and you should be all set. Apple should tell people this but they do not and I can see where the confusion comes in. Hope this is helpful.

What is product key

Your new computer came installed with a free trial. If it is asking for a product key, then the trial is over. I suggest going to eBay and purchasing the software as to purchasing full price. You can get a better dela from there.

Once you get the software in the mail, you can uninstall the trial version that is on you computer and install the new one. It will ask you for the product key, which is located on the Office box that the software come in.

How new is the computer? If you just barely got the PC, then you can run the free trial untill it ends. I think they give you 90 days.

Vista fail to activate 25 digit key

Where did you get the cd kay or activation key? CD key is unique. The trial version Microsoft Office is valid for 30days only. If you need to activate it again you should purchase a serial number from the Microsoft site or buy a Microsoft cd installer.

Note that if you buy a cd installer, you must first uninstall the trial version that is loaded on your machine before installing the Microsoft installer cd.

Help

If you purchased the Full Version then you should have the cd/dvd in a sleeve or box with the product key stuck on it. IF this is trial version then you should have an icon on your desktop that you can click to set up the trial version.
