The ground wire for the stereo may be loose then. I've had that same problem in the past... 2-3 times. It'll connect enough to run the stereo, but the power will be too weak to power the sound to the speakers. There might also be an in-line fuse behind the stereo deck or one on the back of it. Let me know if you find anything :)

it sounds like the USB connector on the face place of the radio has a cracked solder joint. i suggest taking it to a person that know how to solder small objects. your Kenwood has a one year manufacturer warranty it could be some thing to check in to.

I just bought one for my MB C200. May i know what is the best box size of it? I need it to be the smallest possible but yet sound good as i need my boot for my golf stuff. thanks Errick

One sub and one amp I would go with a sealed box. It will hit hardest that way. Make sure to seal it up real good and let that sealant cure overnight. Go with a 1.25 cubic foot enclosure. Oh yea, make your head hurt.

The wife and i went on honeymoon and when we got back she forgot her password on her 910bt and im hearring it all if u know what i mean please help me solve my wife and i problem.

contact pioneer @ 1-800-421-1404 or email them through thier website. you will have to reset the code. the is a system reset button at the very top left corner of the radio. you will have to use a sharp pen or pin/needle to press it in.
here is the owners manual http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/StaticFiles/Manuals/Navigation/AVIC-X910BT_OperationManual0512.pdf

Wife was driving our 1999 galant and the FM radio stopped working. The AM and CD works fine. Is there a problem with the antenna?

if am is working fine, you probably have a bad fm tuner. it is not going to be the antenna.

I installed new speakers to my Honda after installing them they stopped working after 20 min of using them. They came back on after 10 min then went out again and did the same when I installed my new stereo...

They were shorting on the internals of the car door. Put some electrical tape over the connections to make sure this doesn't happen - it can be very unhealthy for your amp.

No sound..amp has power to it

Hello eric_sodergu,

**First thing is verifying that the powerlight is lite up, this shows that it is receiving power and is grounded properly.

**Next thing you need to ensure is that the remote wire is connected properly on both the head unit and the amp.

**Third Make sure the RCA wires are all connected properly, try jiggling them around on the amps end to make sure there not just shorting out.

**Check all fuses related to the amp to make sure all the channels are working properly. (Applys to amps with multiple channels and fuses)

If all these things are fine, then the sub could very well be blown. Did you have it up loud before it stopped working ? You said it was working fine then just went all quiet, did the head unit power down as well ?

Post back with any further info or questions so that I can assist you further.

Car stereo Installation Help

As much as it might sound retarded i want to suggest to you that intead of all that hongkong stuff- just go to walmart and get the sony package that comes with the deck/cdplayer and the 4 speakers it comes with a pair of door speakers and a set of 6x9s and all the wiring that you need for a basic install-plus the deck has the rca pre-outs to install an amp. Get an amp and subs from a pawn shop at least you can be sure that it works before you buy it that way- I'm not knocking your idea, but it could be simpler and when you deal with flea-bay you never know whats going to show up on your doorstep. Good luck to you

Radio reads SAFE won't let me enter a code

Normally you do have to leave your car running sometimes 10 mins sometimes couple hours,

I had same problem with my one and i must have been driving around for days like it and one day it just decided to work

You may find that if you disconnect the battery for couple mins then put it all back together it will work

If not matey then you probley have a faulty headunit

so this is what i suggest to do

Number 1
Disconnect Battery for say 5 mins then connect it all up and see what happens if not you most prob do have a faulty headunit. you can take it to your local car audio shop and they will either repair it or decode it for you

Hope this helps you

Please leave feeback and rate thanks :)
