Question about Motu MachFive 2 Full Version

1 Answer

Hi....Mach 5 seems to be cpu intensive.....But,.. we get to know how to get around that...But what i find annoying is: When you drag Mach 5 over the screen to move it out of the way it brakes up... the best way to get it back to normal is to click the mixer button and then the normal display button....Now my pc is fairly good.. core2 -6400@2.13GHz...6gig memory...XP 64...all my programs are running in 32bitt (on 64bt platform) you think i could have a display card problem?......My motherboard is Asus P5B.. display card NVidia Geforce 7600Gs.....My pc seems to freeze with the dragging of Mach5,as well as the braking up business...Any Ideas?...Chris

That software is not and never was designed to run on XP. Vista 7 or 8 is required.

The batery of my phone is dying too quickly.

Common battery drainers are GPS, Screen intensity, CPU, WIFI & Cellular communications.

If screen intensity is low / screensaved and GPS is switched off, next is to look for excessive communications over WIFI or Cellular or Apps continuously using up CPU.

Horizontal line across screen, only when dragging over large areas with the cursor

Have you tried updating DirectX?

You can also try scanning your computer with RadarSync (for free) to see which drivers are outdated. You can then install the updates by searching for them using Google. But, if you want to let RadarSync update them automatically then you can buy the license.

Does a core duo processor fit into a P4MBMS

Hi, you can download a manual here:

CPU Support: Fully Support Intel LGA 775 Pentium 4 CPU Up to 3.6Ghz

There could be a bios issue when supporting a dual core cpu.
You should read the manual carefully before you continue.

Good luck.

When i drag an application around it skips or roll around the screen slow, its not like that smooth drag.

The "smoothness" depends on the speed of your CPU (Central Processor Unit), the speed and memory-capacity of your video-card, and what other "background" processes are competing for CPU cycles.

If you have a desktop computer, install a better/faster video-card.

Mach speed motherboard problem

I had the same problem once. I took it to CompUSA to have them diagnose the problem, and they said I fried the motherboard or CPU. The fans turn on just because your power supply is on.
