ça m'etonne plus que chez HP ils licencient un max , c est une réponse à la con et le mec y ferait mieux d"aller à la peche que de te repondre des conneries pareilles .
sous Vista.
methode rapides .
1 /Panneau de config
2 / outils administration
3/désactiver le service HPCUE
et voilà tu ne seras plus embeter parce truc de merde .
il doit avoir une autre solution pour virer définitivement ce probleme , on verra plus tard fais dejà ça et ton pc va demarrer normalement et plus vite .

SOURCE: HP CUE Status Root Error

It appears to be a problem with HP Cue Device Discovery Service, the tray notification that tells you when your ink is low, etc.  I solved it on a Vista machine by taking Cue out of the Startup tab in msconfig.  (Could show up as HP Cue Device Discovery Service, or  hpqtray08.exe.)  Note that this will also disable the tray icon and its automatic notifications.  All it does is take Cue out of the startup list, but we don't see the error any more and it hasn't affected the printer's functions.

I haven't come across anything other than manual methods of getting rid of the error.  No updates or patches that I've found.

click on the start button go to start search bar and type services.msc and hit enter now a window will open look for hp cue in that and check status it should be started and automatic not mannual or automatic delayed if its started then there is a problem with the cue version of the hp software
now try downloading the driver through the link and reinstall the software

debe a reinstalar el programa o arrcadora de HP. Si eso no fuciona debe a chekar si la foco de escanner esta fucionando correctemente. Ese problema es de arracdora/driver que llavar Hp. Debe a reinstalar de programa.

My HP printer stopped working and is stuck in the cue


Navigate to Printers under the control panel and try deleting all current print jobs. Then also make sure to click on Printer> and see that the Work Offline option is NOT checked. Good luck

This computer has OS preinstalled and a Recover CD (called RESTORE) supplied by the manufacturer.Insert this (black colored CD) let it ry to boot. Be patient and when prompted remove his CD and follow the instruction as it appears on the screen........sodeep

You should try using Windows Restore. Restore the computer back to when it worked correctly. Then try downloading the latest software for your scanner, etc. from the appropriate websites. i.e. support.hp.com

etc...

That's probably the easiest way to do it.

i had this prob. the "hp cue root " error isnt a hp thing, its a microsoft thing. i beleive it was caused by installing a older model printer AFTER installing a newer model. (i had a hp 2500 series,then installed drivers for a hp 1400 series)
just go to control panel, then "programs and features" , then uninstall everything that is assoiated with the printer your no longer using. just deleating the older printer from the "printers" folder won't do it. (this is assuming that you dont need both printers)
I havent gotten the error message since i did this. besides, its a good rule of thumb to not have drivers that you dont need on your machine anyways.
