SOURCE: Baumatic dishwasher won't start

Had this problem with the Baumatic 13. Perhaps the door is not closing properly. Make sure you push the door hard in the top centre. It should beep once and then start after a few secoonds.

SOURCE: dishwasher seal issue

I use ge silicone clear sealant it is flexible adhesie that can handle water and heat

You can get this at Ace or big box stores you do not need a big tube

FIX:

1 Open dishwasher door

2 gently pull rubber seal away from dishwasher guide You do not have to remove the entire seal unless it is loose just keep pulling until you feel the seal staying on dishwasher

3 put a small amount of clear sealant on loose seal(side facing housing) and small amount on dishwasher guide ( dip your finger into water so that it does not stick to your finger)

4 press the seal into place on dishwasher housing

5 wipe excess with a damp cloth be sure you do not get any on seal side that faces dishwasher door

6 Allow to dry over night

Good Luck

SOURCE: error 3 on dishwasher

E3 on BDW45.1 is a failure to reach correct temperature (or the diswasher is unable to dectect the water has reached the correct temperature). You may find the items are not being dried fully.

Broken door spring

This should not be hard to replace. It would have helped if you had provided the model number of the dishwasher.

You need to buy a replacement spring (best to get the pair) which looks like this item.
BAUMATIC DISHWASHER TG5 DOOR SPRING for BDS461SS

To replace you need to locate the second spring on the other side of the dishwasher and remove it. The front base plate needs to be removed first to get access to the spring anchor points. Use a screw driver or a nose plier to grab it and dislodge. Always make sure the door is shut to ensure least tension in the springs. Put the two new springs and close the base plate. Door will not shut.No error code.Door keeps springing open!

Hi there
If this door was mine I would get the dishwasher -doctor to come and fix the door. On the other hand if you have a good friend who likes repairing things he might talk to your machine.
