If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, list of Dealers for spare part supplies as required.

Your Accountant will know.

The information is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

I have a Casio CE-6100 cash register. Whenever I try to finalise a transaction with the "Cash" button i get a long beep and nothing happens. If i use the cheque or credit card buttons instead...

You may have changed the key feature settings for CASH accidentally. Try this:
Turn key to program mode 0 CASH SUBTOTAL 3 SUBTOTAL 0 CASH SUBTOTAL
Turn key back to REG mode and try it - you may have to sign a clerk on

We have a cash register CASIO CE4000, when we tried to change the VAT to 20% its repeatedly giving error 1 & 2. we keyed 20 and then pushed the VAT button after positioning the key to the program...

It sounds like you didn't finish programming before you turned the key. Try turning back to program and press SUBTOTAL, then back to REG.

I AM GETTING AN ERROR MESSAGE E01 CAN'T MAKE IT QUIT BEEPING

Hi. If it is a Casio, it means you haven't finished what you were doing in the previous mode before you turned the key. You need to turn the key back to where it stops giving the error, then finish in that mode. otherwise, let me know the brand and model

Casio Euro & Tax FR 620TER

To change the VAT rate:-

1) Press the [CA] button

2) Hold the [SET/%] button for about three seconds until the display reads 0.

3) Type 15 for the new rate of VAT

4) Press [TAX+} button

5) Press the [CA} button

To check the new rate you have press [CA] and [TAX+] to show the current rate, the [VAT-] is linked to the [VAT+] button and doesn't need changing.

Hope this helps

VAT is value added tax which is straight percentage. program tax one or two for the percentage and make sure your departments are set up taxable or non taxible. prgm 2 is vat probably and program 1 will be for dept. generally with casio.

Changing VAT rate on Casio CE-3410

Hi.
This is an old rare UK model so i don't have the sequence for it. Do you have any manuals for it? I can help you to look up the correct settings if you have a manual. I may have some similar models but sometimes you can muck up other programming if you get it wrong.

CANNOT PROGRAMME THE VAT AMOUNT INTO CASIO TE 2000

Hi.
Has it had the system options set for tax? Was it calculating previously? Usually you just need to change the rate when you have a tax increase.
