Hi.

In case you have not fixed the problem yet, try doing a full system power reset. This is done performing the following, simply disconnecting the power adapter won't be enough:

  • Disconnect all power adapter cables from wallsockets.
  • Remove all handsets from cradles.
  • Remove all battery from cradles.
  • Fit back the batteries in their handsets.
  • Place back handsets in their cradles.
  • Connect power cables.

The procedure above will reset the system and will re-sync handsets to cradles. If that does not work, then some of the units comprised in the system is defective.

Unable to cancel min. wind chill reading wnen current display reads NA; thus 5C still shows from a day in April!

There is a reset button on each sensor unit and there is a reset on the base display. The NA means that the signal is not being sensed from the remote. If you use the reset button on the base you will lose all the historical data. The problem may be related to strong interference from something else nearby, You can bring the sensor inside to see if the base picks it up. IF it does not it may need to be replaced. Oregon scientific instructions

Which model Oregon Scientific do you have? There are a couple that you need to set the time zone with a switch on the back of the unit. For the BAR388HGA-BK, you press and hold Mode for 2 seconds until it goes into the setting mode. Then you can use the up/down arrows to cycle through the Time Zone options. (1 is Pacific, 4 is Mountain). Press Mode again to confirm the setting and advance to the next item to change. You will leave the Set mode if you do not press a button for several seconds. If you just press and release the Mode button, then you can set the time display option.

A number of Oregon Scientific product manuals are available here:
Technical Support , http://www.oregonscientific.com/us/en/service/support . Scroll down and see the drop-down menu on the right.

I hope this helps.

I have found my old oregon scientific camera DS6618. I finally found drivers for it at driversguide.com, downloaded and ran the program and each time it says it can not open the setup.exe file, so...

If the camera is so old that it's no longer listed on the manufacturer's website, then you will not be able to find current drivers for it regardless of what driversguide.com said. If the camera uses a memory card, you could always use a card reader to download the pics. typrice_133.jpg
