I recently installed the EVGA GTX 460 2win and whenever I start to play a game on my computer it over heats and freezes the game. I have it connected to a ASUS Maximus IV Extreme motherboard inside a Cool...

Well if all of the fans are running on high, there shouldn't be a heat issue. I would install and check and make sure heat is the actual issue. There could be a problem with the card itself and not necessarily caused by heat. You can try downloading the latest drivers for it.. but to me, if heat isn't the issue, the card probably has an issue and will need to be sent back to the manufacturer.

Evga H55v mobo issues with driver cd. Audio driver not installing, or rather HW not found after install. Also odd thing 4g of ram 2gx2 is only registering as 2.98g in system can you help?

If the driver cd is damaged then you should download audio drivers from here
these drivers are probably going to be more up-to-date than what's on your CD anyway.

As for the RAM, the fact that it is registering at that specific amount makes me belive it's your operating system. 32-bit Windows operating systems do not utilize more than 3GB of RAM. If you get a 64-bit version (Windows XP Professional 64-bit for instance), it wil recognize all of your RAM. My brother has 4GB of RAM with Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit and it sees that he has 4GB, but it says, "only 2.9GB utilized."

I have intel 845GVSR motherboard for P4 CPU and i am unable to install audio driver from Intel CD ROM So how to find & install audio driver?

Check your "BIOS" to see whether the audio device is enabled!!
For the Intel Mobo 845GVSR is a discontinued product by INTEL, and also check your CMOS CR2032 3V battery if it need to be replaced.

If you have the MOBO CD all the drivers are there but maybe the drivers are outdated.

Audio problem

You need to install the correct driver for the sound device, because with win XP it can install a generic driver but it wont be working properly so if its a built sound on your MOBO you need to install driver for it from the MOBO setup CD.

Sound card wont play root media files

Hi Hughdog
well, Biostar mobos are know for a lot issues, but depending too, on the OS, windows XP I presume, go on safe mode, and uninstall all audio drivers, and disable on the BIOS audio. then start the PC, and install the audio card. or if is a internal audio reenable again, redetec the drivers, and install them according to the CD and drivers. you should see the play device now and play music correctly.
good luck
