There is an error in our canon imagerunner 5000 M/c.

A E003 is a error code with the fixing unit. I would first try to reset the error code in service mode first. If that will not correct the problem, most likely the thermistor will need to be replace. The PCB connection break off. I would replace the sub thermistor at the same time. Good Luck

The SSR has a short circuit or the dc controller pcb is faulty. To clear press:

this error code appears when there is a codec error the solution is :
1) replace the SDRAM
or
2) replace the HDD
or
3) replace the main controoler board

try to change HDD drive

E000 error means the fixing assembly is overheating.

You will need a Service technician to fix this.

its a fuser error high temp or lower temp
try to rest this error in *28* FUNCTION,CLEAR,ERROR then on off the machine
if the error the same try to replace tem sensor

The error code is for a bad NIC board. Are you sure the new board is good? I would try to put the NIC board in another copier just to see if it's good. I've never had any problems putting in the NIC board and it not working. What was your oringinalproblem that you hadto replace the board in the first place? The main controller may be bad also. it s a thermistor problem
to clear the error do the following.
press additionel functionel* button & press 2&8 at a time &press additionel functionel button* select COPIER>FUN CTION>CLEAR>ERROR>OK.

It has been found that if the toner bottle is not installed properly E025-0002 may occur.
