Question about 3Com NBX® V3000 (3C10600BUS)

Remote Phones I want to be able to set up a 3102 business phone at a remote location. I followed the instructions to do so. I set up NAT on my company's firewall and my home router to direct UDP ports 2093 through 2096. I manually configured the IP address, gateway, and NCP IP address and hooked the phone into the router with the ethernet cable and it connected to the NCP. Everything was fine, except that people I call on the phone cannot hear me. I can hear them on the phone just fine. I swapped phones, and it is the same issue. I tried doing the same procedure in other remote locations with the exact same results. Anyone have any thoughts?

It sounds like you have the right ports forwarded from the internal IP address of your home router to your work router, but I would assume you'd need to configure the home router to forward those same ports from the router's external IP toward the phone's IP address, whatever that may be (or possibly to a broadcast address.)

Like the above poster said, I've only been able to get this to work in a VPN situation.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

How do I add a cordless phone to my two line KX-T7731 Panasonic phone?

Hello Shantell...

I could be wrong (am... quite often)
I have not seen (nor found) the SPEC that defines
the KX-T7731 as a "wireless" BASE-STATION.

((looks more like those stations can be associated
together to form a private exchange (business office or delux home intercom system)...

Could be wrong...

IF SO...
It depends entirely if you are buying "NEW" or
re-applying a PREVIOUSLY "programmed"
wireless REMOTE units.

Definitly call 1-800-332-5368 to
verify 2 - line cordless availability/compatibility

My VERY BEST advice is to go ManualsLib

Determine the compatible remote...

Buy that & follow the (usually very simple) instructions...

Hope I am helping

How do you change the time on the display panel

You have to change the time on the phone system by logging in as administrator. Once it is changed it will update the time on all of the phones at the same time. Remote IP phones are a little different in that they only sometimes get the correct time from the system when they are booted and connect to the system.

No network problems 3com phones can't get connected to dhcp

Assuming you are talking about remote phones, you need to program the NCP (call processor) IP into the phones manually or add option 187 to your DHCP scope. The phones are able to DHCP the just also need to know what the IP address of the phone system to connect to is. If the phones are on your local network then this is all unnecessary. They work at layer 2 locally and don't need to use an IP address or DHCP.

How do i retrieve telephone messages when away from home

A remote code must be entered to operate the system remotely. The factory code setting is "111" and you can set your own personal code by following the directions on page 31 of the phone system operating guide.

To check messages from a remote location, dial your number from any touch tone phone, enter your code after the greeting message begins, then follow the voice prompts.

Oritron DAV 3102 home theater system

I found a website for the remote you need. I need one too. Go to and put your model number of DAV 3102 in the space. It will show you the original remote and a replacemet you can use. Kind of expensive but worth it to me.
